Davie Bow gets my vote but how could you be so cruel and throw in the other three knowing that there's probably one with the Club crest tattooed on his arm that won't make it through! This is one sick game but someone has to play it

christ this could be 4 winners
swanaldo...fantastic talent and when he was on fire as good as anything we've had over the last 25 years
eric the viking...cheerleader during the best years following utd away for me, chief hipperer of laudrup and di canio
bo...just a legend, no a cult hero...great quiz this tek but someone in our all time 11 isnt a 'cult hero',,he's a hero
will pettigrew...final piece of the jigsaw for a young team with everything, the experience to see us over the line to win silverwear
gonna hae to go bowman simply cause he's mair than a cult hero...but i'd have picked eric the viking

As a cult hero then have to go for Erik.
Bow is a true club legend and way more than a cult hero
Pettigrew although not here that long, is also a true club legend for obvious reasons.
Swanson, cup winner, but not even close to the other 3 IMO.

all four are legends but ad go for bowman

Willie P before my time but loved the other 3.
Swanson never scored a bad goal and was great too watch when fit. Erik was magic, we loved hin and he loved us.
Gonna have to go for Bowman. He's more of a legend that a cult hero IMO

I would regard Bowman as more of a "cult hero" than a bona fide LEGEND.For me DUFC legends are guys like (Dossing,Narey,Sturrock,Bannon),don't think he could be spoke of in the same terms as those guys, but just my opinion and probably a debate for another time.
Pettigrew should probably win but as i never saw him play in the flesh i cannae vote for him.
Bowman, fantastic attitude and great club servant. But we've had far better midfielders.Should always be fondly remembered for '94 Cup Final if ni
othing else though.
Swanson,as good a player ability wise as any i've seen at Tannadice in past 30years.Only scored brilliant goals as stated above by Hunted. But had a dissapointing last season and departure fae Tannadice.Only player i've ever seen who TRIED to get sent off,not just once but TWICE (v Hibs when he deliberately hand balled it but bizarrely also in his last game v Motherwell where he seemed to be playing in a rage).
Pedersen gets my vote.A proper 'cult' hero.Great rapport with the fans, great attitude, and some utterly memorable performances.

FFS!!!!!!!!
I wid vote for all 4 coz they all have cult status in their own right.
Decisions decisions decisions!
Ehd have to go for Bow coz he's an auld freend but also coz he fully deserved his nickname.

mmmm this is a tough one but i feel i have to pick bowman....united havent really had many tough players over the years....maybe not as talented but he was our Roy Keane, god who remembers him offering a fan a square go when he played for Forfar? or his smashed face in the semi final against Aberdeen in 94. Legend, and part of the GREAT european team of 87.

Although Bowman was a hard bastard he was also a really good futba player as well.

Tin helmet on.
I don't think he was.
I think he was however a vital cog in a few good Utd sides though.
Tackling, aggression and will to win are not qualities every player possesses, but he had in spades.
That was his strong point.

Erik.
Just for his United tattoo alone.
Plus his man marking against Brian Laudrup was world class.
