United have said they’re not expecting to sign anyone but if a player leaves that may change...
Few players linked with moves away - Benji, Neilson (Leicester), Edwards (Wigan), Shankland (Millwall?)
Possibly be the case that nothing happens but suppose you never know
Be interesting to see what else happens in Scotland, few teams still looking to strengthen.

Have the club said that if a players leaves that we might sign someone?

No, sorry they’ve not! That’s just my poor grammar!

Ah no worries mate.
I canna see much happening today, but you never know. It terms of rumours, you would think there is much more chance of some leaving that anyone coming in.
IMO, even if we sell someone for money, it wont make a bit of difference, the money wont go back into our already bloated squad.

On that note, The S*n are quoting a £300k bid from Leicester for Lewis Neilson.

If we are bringing in anyone then anyone with a hint of creativity in midfield would be ideal. Never going to happen though. FWIW doubt anyone will leave either, even the Championship/ League 1 (down south) that we normally sell players to must be well skint.

The Neilson one appears to have legs. I hope the £300k quoted has some serious add-ons involved. We'd be silly not to. Surely push them to £500k ffs? It's Leicester City.

Scott Burns saying there is interest in Neilson but doesn't expect him to leave during this window.

No real surprise there at this stage I guess.
If the squad stays relatively injury free then I'm confident we will see this season out safely.

St Mirren's recent form and their games in hand have almost shut the door on the top 6 for everyone. I can't see them slipping up. Them and Livi will make up the last two top 6 spots.
It leaves us fighting with some big clubs that havent been anywhere near relegation for a long time like Killie, Motherwell and St Johnstone.
The key is to make sure we are able to finish above Ross County and Hamilton. If we cant do that, then we deserve to go down. We currently have 8 points on Ross County and 9 on Hamilton (who have 2 games in hand).
As much as our form is bad, we should recover to see us through. At this stage I'm hoping for 7th but expecting one or two places lower.

We’ll see, don’t share the same optimism

Hibs fans on Twitter reckon as soon as Nisbet goes they'll just come and take Shankland off of us. Easy as that apparently.

Aberdeen signing two strikers and Bruce Anderson likely to join Hamilton on loan from the sheep. When that move goes through there will be only one premier league team who have made no signings.

If we get relegated there will be an awful lot of unhappy fans bringing this very point up.

Very scared about the run in. Can only hope now. Relieved we still have Shankland.
All down to the tactics, form of existing players and luck.
Was going to add refereeing but fuckall likely to change on that front.
Fans can do nothing to help or hinder.
Micky Mellon needs to change & motivate or we have an incoming fucking nightmare.
