Whole left side of defence is a major worry, Reynolds and robson again tonight we’re abysmal

But you could go through our whole team, we need a left winger (have done for years) and need a creative midfielder, very worrying especially if Benji goes and we bring no one in

Its not only down to that but i do agree slightly. Boys like Harkes, Connolly, Reynolds, Robson, Powers, Bolton are not premiership players and we will be paying a hell of a lot a week on them and other players in the squad who dont cut the mustard. Do you think we would have started the season with the players we did if it wasnt for covid?
Also this window 100% would have strengthened the sqauad if we had received the income we would have for all the home games this season.

I reckon we would have probably went for players who were ready made, probably less of a gamble, Stuart Findlay comes to mind, boys like him

Actually do feel really sorry for Mellon his hands are somewhat tied, I’m desperate for him to do well seems like a really decent guy but it’s not working atm, it’s dreadful to watch but bring back the 5 at the back after tonight 🤣

If this website is to be believed the wages we are paying for our two loanees (Bolton and McNulty) are eye watering.

Jeezo, don’t think most of that will be far away, I’d terminate both loans if possible

Have just read the SFA and government have agreed a deal on the loan, payed over a 20 year period and with zero interest

Would be silly not to invest in a few players of the loan, Dundee and hearts have even though they got free money which is fucking bizarre

I read the info on the link earlier. And whilst i think some will be accurate some of them are laughable. There is no danger who ever has written it all knows the weekly payment of every player in the league. But you get idiots who believe everytbing they read online.

Disappointing but not surprising at all. The fact Ogren is having to write a cheque to cover the shortfall each month means we'll need to use most of that cash to plug some serious gaps.

Hopefully that money can also be used to offer some pre-contracts to guys that can come in the summer.

He also said no outgoings apart from King to Raith. Benji especially is vital to our survival. No problem with Deniz but he is simply a solid no.2 imo and nothing more.

You do know that he will be treating that as a loan and will ultimately get every penny back?

To not give a tiny slice of that 1.7M to the Manager to improve the squad is a huge gamble to take.

Cant be sure if he will or not mate I'm nae businessman. But ultimately the fact that is even happening makes it unsurprising that he doesnt want to spend on players. Added to the fact Mellon has said he hasnt gone asking for players... which is hopefully a wind-up.
