Rumours he tore his ACL in a friendly match vs Ayr last week. Really hope its not true or not as bad as feared. Horrible injury for the lad that I hope doesn't dent his development too much.

I've been banging on about this incomprehensible loan since it first happened but didnae see this coming.
Ridiculous, absolutely ridiculous.
Should not have been there in the first place.
A talent like this wasted playing for Partick bloody Thistle under Jobbie fuckin McCall at Ayr in a friendly and this happens.
Mellon duuaaaaah. Obviously couldnae see this coming but ultimately down to you.
A season out of the laddies career.
All the very best young man, stay strong, get fit quick.

That's unfair Shakey. Injuries are part and parcel of the game, and this one could have happened if he'd stayed or not.

To an extent you're right Pat mebbe I'm getting a wee bit carried away there.
But are you more likely to pick up injuries playing at a level where there are more hams ? - Yes.
So then it becomes a question of does the benefit of him going to Partick merit the increased risk of injury ?
- Micky thought so, and Declan has 9 months to contemplate the consequence.
These loan moves are not decided on a whim, there were probably half a dozen good reasons why his being loaned to Partick came about..Mustn't blame our manager for him picking up this injury.
Declan will come back stronger.

Appere played at junior level and it worked well for him last season. These things happen and the lad was unlucky.

He was right to go on loan. Also you can do your ACL without any contact. Stop trying to find blame in something where there is none.
Glass is built like a pencil, he isnt physical enough to play in his correct position for us in the Premiership. Its an unlucky situation for the lad and I hope he comes back stronger.
