Hamish was captain in the mid-seventies for a time. I can remember him doing the coin toss before games in the season we nearly got relegated, and think he took on penalty kick duties as captain to lead by example, as we'd missed quite a few before he stepped up.

Probably but I think the thread is about Club Captains, not team captains. There will literally hundreds of them...
