Stephen Hendry
After retiring from professional snooker in 2012, he's tonight revealed he will come out of retirement to play in the next 2 years of the snooker pro tour circuit.
Never seen that one coming.
If he has his hunger back then this will be very interesting. Arguably the best player to ever pick up a cue.

Interesting to see what level he is playing at now.
Probably the best player. I'd hope that he has the focus for it and he can come out and show some of the newer players what is needed to be the best.

Presumably he agrees with Ronny that the standard outside the top players is mince. Pity as I thought his commentary was actually quite enlightening. Much better than the previous also ran 'player' commentators who didn't seem to add anything to the knowledge of someone who had been in a few snooker halls in their youth.

His victory over O'Sullivan in the 2002 World semi was the greatest snooker performance I've seen. I don't think he ever recovered from losing the final to Ebdon.
