    Friendly on Wednesday?

    Noticed someone say elsewhere that Mellon said yesterday in his post-match interview that we are playing Rangers on Wednesday. But they are due to play Motherwell at Ibrox that night.

    Cove Rangers maybe?

    It's their B team, it won't be a bad B team, but cannae get overly excited about this and we really should be avoiding losing goals against a team at that level.

    Appears some of the zoomer bears are taking it badly though so all good.

    I think the lack of United output on this just reflects that this isn't considered as anything other than a training game - boys calling it a disgrace?  Steady on...

    B team but still a half-decent team. I would have expected to beat them, but the seethe on Twitter is really outstanding. United fans absolutely ripping the piss and Sevco fans biting left right and centre.

    For what its worth, plenty of players in the rangers team with 1st team experience:

    Glenn Middleton
    Bassey (just signed from Leicester for 6 figures)
    McCrorie
    Greg Stewart
    Greg Docherty
    Josh McPake
    Jordan Jones

    Not exactly an u18s team.
