So he was: at the back of my mind I knew that, long and decent career up north at various clubs. Forgot he was at Tannadice, and he'd have been better than some of the performers we had over his playing years.

Re: Go Fund Me started by Paul McNicholl (Dode Fox Podcast)

I mean this with no disrespect to anyone here, but are Dundee United taking part in the arbitration proceedings starting next week, or are the funds being raised currently going to cover losses from the Court of Session appearance? (This is a rhetorical question, unless anyone linked to the matter is happy to speak up).

I'm not entirely convinced we are going to be represented at arbitration, I don't believe any of the clubs have ever said directly that they would be. As I and many others see it, the case revolves around the legality or otherwise of the now infamous "Dundee vote". I'm not entirely sure what our QC can contribute to that debate. I look forward to hopefully finding out this coming week though - my suppositions may be off the mark.

Would you not have been better putting this on the "Arbitration Day" topic, rather than spoil the positive tone on this one?

Your "inside information" and legal expertise has been invaluable over there.

A fair point, apologies. I posted before thinking.

To be clear, I won't have inside information on this case, just on the general workings of the court system.

Absolutely brilliant effort by our boys and the lads from cove and raith.

I hope the club can reward them in some little way - it would be thoroughly deserved.

If you can't say something nice, don't say anything at all.
