Is this the strip we wore last pre-season? Or new one?
p.s. should we be concerned at the lack of Shankland, Butcher and McMullan? Injured? 🤔We wore that that last pre season
I thought it looked familiar.Â

With not a single out-and-out striker amongst the 22 brave men at Dalzeil Park is it surprising we didn't score a goal.
Both lineups were 4-6-0 formation & you know what happened to THAT manager.
I think we need to sign at least 6 centre forwards asap
P.S. Only kidding We've got.....Laurence Shankland...

New manager was looking over players with a view for the future it seems plus what backup we have/need and youth.

Steve Robinson speaking on Motherwell's channel saying it was a 'good, competitive, physical game' and that he was 'impressed by Dundee United'.
That's good to hear considering it was 2 youthful Utd sides.

Good to see Clark getting a run.
We used 3 youngsters in the 1st half team, Freeman, Graham & Fotheringham.
4 in the 2nd half team, Neilson, Mochrie, Glass & Davidson. Not including a young goalie who came on for Deniz on the hour.
That's not counting Chalmers (1st half) & Appere (2nd half) who are young but are in the picture.

Micky definitely wanting to have a look at the youngsters. Sticking Graham beside Connolly and Neilson beside Reynolds is something I expect to see in more friendlies unless we sign another CH. I really think those two could be big players for us in the future.
They are both absolutely fuckin massive by the way. Both taller than Connolly which is great for a young CH. Neilson is only 17 too and is built like the side if a house. Graham got rave reviews at Elgin too. Strolled through games apparently. Those two being bled into the team slowly might mean we only need 1 new CH this summer, who knows.
Same with Jake Davidson, centre mid and he is well over 6ft and in a similar shape to Appere. From the reserve games I've watched his is a proper utility player. Centre mid his best position but can also play anywhere across the back 4. Its been said before, he turned 20 this year so it's time for him to break through properly along with Chalmers, Glass and Freeman.
I'm always aggreived we don't get to see the Reserves/u21s/U20s/U18s/Colts whatever the **** you call them, can only go on what you hear. You seem to see them some of the time LEK. Think I saw them twice last season. Or was it once? BRING BACK THESE GAMES TO EVENINGS AT TANNADICE. Anyway, considering Glass & Mochrie have had a taste already things are shaping up not too badly for the Breakthrough Brigade, patron Louis Appere.

They don't play these games there because the pitch would be fucked.

Like in days gone by?
And they've spent a six-figure sum on the pitch over the last few years.
If the pitch gets 'fucked' they want to get back to these contractors.
An average of one game a week should not be asking too much of it.
