Don't know if any of you guys are tech minded. If so maybe you can help (as i'm useless).
Laptop's battery charger pack was knackered.
Bought what i thought was the same one for my Hewlett packard G6 laptop.
Got it today and it isn't the same battery pack (shorter lead a giveaway).
It still 'works' and the laptop is now charging and therefore turning on again.
BUT
It is so much more unresponsive.Kinda like the mousepad feature is broke i'e' the cursor is moving slower+ kinda 'sticky'.
Not a huge deal but is frustrating and finding it hard to run this place as efficiently+quickly.Could it be linked to the battery pack being a cheaper model?
I wouldn't have thought so myself, but as i said i'm not at all technically minded.
Any help appreciated.

Aye TEK. Just spent 3 days fixing a friend's laptop that was riddled with Virus after virus, Spyware, Malware, you name it. Biggest bugbear for me was that phuckin mouse pad. Simply plugged in a USB mouse, and the job was far easier.
Rather than worrying about a more serious or major issue, get yourself a half decent USB mouse and use that rather than the mousepad. Much better and less frustration. (you'll also save a small amount of memory by not having the mousepad software running).

The mousepad is inbuilt Bill.
Never had this problem with it till today.Hence my obvious thought that it's related to the new battery pack.
If it continues i might try and pick up a USB mouse, though i'd prefer not tae (wee bitty old fashioned).
Cheers for the advice btw.
