I agree with the MSPs at the time he got the Scottish Development gig that he shouldn't of been given that position. Therefore I have drafted an email that will be sent to the club & SLO & to express my feelings and asking them what refund policies are in place which will be sent if he is appointed.
As stated, if Asgar appoints him and it goes badly wrong then Asgar will need to be shown the door. We are a community/family club - this is not what we need.
I respect those who disagree with my moral stance.

Grow up ffs all of you.
Perhaps to help us all grow you couplet us know which of the thing he said are the 3 offensive ones, and which are ok?
That article outlines the reasons the offensive texts came to light:
"These messages came to light after a dawn raid on Moody’s south London home in March this year, as part of Cardiff’s £750,000 investigation into eight controversial transfers. They engaged London law firm Mishcon de Reya, whose investigators obtained a search order from the High Court to enter Moody’s house in Balham, seizing work computers and phones and taking electronic imagery of evidence. They were investigating alleged wrongdoing related to one of these transfers."
It explains my major misgivings with Mackay, over and above his unimpressive managerial record and his 'work' with the SFA. People within the game will know the risks involved in employing guys like Mackay and Moody, neither of whom have been employed by any football clubs for over five years, April 2015 and August 2014 respectively.

I looked up your link Nomad & granted, it's a tabloid but yeah, there are certainly more than three texts deemed offensive.
There's a bare minimum of 4 cos he's guilty on the 4 big ones - racist, sexist, homophobic & anti-semitic.
But at the root of it all, they were private, P-R-I-V-A-T-E, & whilst that doesn't make him non- of the big four I'll bet the vast majority of pro football people in the UK would be shiteing themselves if their private football texts were to go public. Nobody would be getting managers' jobs anywhere.
Why on earth didn't he delete them or maybe he did but phone companies can retreive them under investigative licence? But then again it wasn't a Police enquiry or anything, just the FA?
Worth remembering tho that despite all he was never charged with anything by anybody. Just cost him a couple of million in lost jobs.

Splitting hairs here, but there were 6 offensive texts shared... 3 each?

If he was coming here, now I would kick up an almighty stink. A more crooked, horrible man you will not find in the world of pro football. He's got away with murder & every other offence over the years, now sits pretty never off the tele & to cap it all he wins that fukn jungle thing, should have left him there. Look into his eyes. Harry Redknapp makes Malky Mackay seem like Mother Theresa.

'Arry was found not guilty. It was his dog that was receiving the cash into a bank account
And, like I've said, 'Arry was the high profile football person who stood up for Malky Mackay after Mackay used 'friendly text banter'.

I read the article Pat thankyou, quite coincidental inasmuch as earlier I was defending MM by comparing his relatively gentle sins with the monstrous actions of 'AR the gangster.
Birds of a feather maybe?

nah you'll definitely need to explain why you think our owner is a Trump supporter and what that actually means
I think it is because someone on P&B posted that he was donating to his party and showed what he was donating each month.

Just checked the betting on SkyBet. Fuck sake, Joey Barton 3rd favourite & Paul Hartley 4th favourite!!!!! Scary.

Still don't see the relevance of our owners political leanings (in a country which is separate to the club) unless its being inferred that because he supports trump he is somehow outed as a racist with a tenancy for p***y grabbing and as such, he'd be more inclined to hire mckay.
Jeezus. Some folk need to get back to normal life

I'm relieved if it's not Mackay. Don't think we should be bothered about the Americans and their voting preferences either.

Apparently Wright has been offered the job - heard it from a few sources now. (Don't shoot the messenger if ends up not true)

Record reporting Steve McClaren has held talks, along with Mackay & others. All that hype just to sell papers.

Seems Tommy Wright isn't even under consideration which i find strange (unless he's outright said he's not interested).
Out of the named candidates it has to be McLaren for me.
Be a big coup for the club, would raise our profile U.K. wide and would help us attract a better standard of player due to McLaren being a household name in footballing circles.
He would surely have a wealth of great contacts also.
