FWIW, I'm gutted to miss the vote through my own lack of attention.
However, I really rated Reddy as a player, right up there, but the Monk was a cult hero.
Maybe we need a definition of football cult hero (not lesser legend)? I certainly can't find a definitive version but I certainly know how it feels, and it would be similar to stobievulture's artistic version. 
Edit, if it does come down to it, I'll go for Fine Semen over David Proctor.
Jerry Kerr's Scandinavian imports were instrumental in my love affair with the WF, probably more to do with Fine Dawson (sic).
