A virtuoso display by Brazillian debutant Sergio and Trinidadian winger Jerren Nixon see Alex McLeish's 'Well utterly ripped to shreds on the day by a Utd side at the top of their game. It could have been TEN on the day.
Does anybody remember the picture in the papers of 2 Utd ball boys laughing behind big Eck's back as he walks up the Tannadice trackside at full time? He looked like a man who'd just lost a winning lottery ticket. Was FAF.

Thanks a lot for that, first time I've seen the highlights since I was at the game. Indeed make no
mistake that could have been a cricket score that day. Remember a few Well scarves on the trackside.

Quite unbelievable how that squad of players managed to get relegated.
That 5-2 vs hearts and the first home game of 5he season vs Aberdeen were three highs in what was still the most disappointing season I’ve witnessed in my time watching United.
From the highs of finally clearing the final hurdle to relaxation in 12 months.

I'd forgotten all about Juan Ferreri, paid a pile of cash for him and this was his only brief appearance as a subbie. Capped for Uruguay too.
