Screenshot just before the Borussia equaliser, decent 'crowd' in the stadium. As I type the away side have gone 2-1 up, crowd unmoved by the penalty award.
Anyone else watching the Bundesliga? I watched the Fortuna v Paderborn last week, the players either looked lacking in match fitness as the game progressed, or seemingly unmotivated due to no crowds. Fortuna showed little urgency as the end of the game approached, even although they'd hit woodwork three times and dominated throughout.
This match seems to have more quality about it. Kai Havertz looks some player, again, and has got both Leverkusen goals. Marcus Thuram (Lilian's son) scored a cracker for Moenchengladbach.

That wee triangle of terracing that's empty looks a great wee away end.

Aye, been following Dortmund last couple of years. I encouraged the weeman to pick a team (obviously with a fatherly influence) fae the Bundesliga, La Liga, Serie A and Eredivisie plus got him intae Boca.
So Dortmund, Barca, Lazio and Ajax. Still talks about Flamengo asking to see them beating River Pap.
Enjoyed the Bundesliga more than other European Leagues over last 2 years, top quality fitba. Fans are really intae it which also helps me appreciate it.
I'd love any team other than Bayern to win the league. I see them a bit like Celtic although you could say Ajax have some thing similar going on.
Like that the game you picture had near 13000 fan "cardboard you" cut outs. They charged €19 each to create and raised alot of cash that went to local charities and even dain away end ains...

Woah, River Plate are my Argentinian team!
Never realised the cut-outs had raised so much: great idea.
It's Der Klassiker shortly, I'll agree with you about Borussia Dortmund, or even Leverkusen or the other Borrusia winning the league, but wouldn't want RB Leipzig doing it.
Finally, I follow Fortuna in Germany, and following on from my post about them lacking urgency last week, on Saturday there they lost 2 goals in the 88th and 91st minutes to drop two points. This fragility may yet cost them their place in the top league. It's been an ongoing issue recently for Düsseldorf.

Fuck sake Pat, River Plate bud.
Aye,Leipzig is a money style issue. Weirdly mixes with yer appreciation for the wee team wish tae succeed and fly up the leagues and yer distaste for buying success.

Seems like Bayern are almost uncatchable after the midweek game: hope they take the foot off the pedal on Saturday evening though, but I fear a pumping for Fortuna Düsseldorf.
After their midweek result, though, Fortuna have given themselves a chance of staying up, but have further games v Dortmund and Leipzig in their last six. Looking difficult.

Bayern closing in on the title with a 5-0 win over Fortuna, one of only two home sides to win over the six fixtures so far this weekend, the other 4 being away victories.
After 33 games behind closed doors, there have only been 7 home victories in total.

Bayern well ahead of the rest winning the league last night in Bremen, Dortmund closing on second after their 95th minute winner against Fortuna on Saturday, Dortmund face Mainz tonight, third placed RB Leipzig host Fortuna.
Hoping for a Dortmund/Fortuna double........

didn't work out, and for a time last night Fortuna were into the straight down relegation spot. But two goals in the last three minutes gave them a point which puts them back into the relegation play off position, which, after Mainz' shock win at Dortmund, looks like the best they can get this season.
