I honestly think Watson's better at the back for us than Connolly and Reynolds. The latter still has 2 years left on his contract despite being 33 now and finished at Premiership level.

Surprised Kieran Freeman ain't released also. Never featured even once.

I agree. Good experience to have in the dressing room but I'd like to think we'll sign 2 centre backs and it will rotate between Connolly and those 2 with Reynolds theres as back-up.

Didnt think about Freeman. Still so young so maybe they saw something in him in the 6 months he was here. A player that came through our academy so maybe more keen to give him a chance. Can play both right and left back I think?

Am I right in saying that in the case of Bingham, Sow, Wardrop, and Watson, that their contacts are up at the end of the Season.

I'll predict right now that Keiran Freeman will be a big player for us in upcoming seasons (if he is kept on).

Correct decision to release all 8 imo and the club could go further by trying to find a taker for Pawlett and Powers both won’t make it at premiership level.

Quality is what we need for next season in particular in the Centre half, Centre Midfield and a right midfield.

As those 4 are out contract it's no surprise.
It would have been a major shock if any of the 4 were given a new contract.
Watson IMO is a poor player dosent read the game at all well and is a panicker

Cant see Powers or Pawlett going anywhere. Fwiw i think Powers will do well next season. Pawlett a half-decent squad player if fit.

Thats the biggest issue right there.
I imagine the wage he is on could get us a far superior player

I seen nothing from either player last season that would give me any confidence that either could make a significant impact next season. Half decent squad players that are never fit (pawlett)should also be the first out the door, quality is what we need.

Hope for liked players including some youth through the ranks needs binned tae be successful in the top league.

Harsh cruel decisions and better signings are what's required.

Not really disagreeing with you except they both did have games last season where they played well. Just fairly certain they wont be leaving.

He wont be hard to move on, though.
