A repeat of an exercise from last season (2018-2019).
Table includes all competitive games, including the Caramel Cup game, so take it with a pinch of salt. Also, the likes of Paul Watson has a poorer individual record at right back than he does in central defence, but this simple table includes all appearances.
Figures are percentages. Some obvious points are indicated, Nicky Clark and Calum Butcher appear to be very important players, while the percentages for Dillon Power and Peter Pawlett are discouraging. But make of it what you wish.

Just shows how important a player Nicky Clark was for us.
Csaba signing too.👀
I like a good stat but is a raw percentage not a bit misleading?
For example, it doesn't look good for Liam Smith as we won 100% games without him but that can only have been 1 or 2 matches at most.

The stat that jumps out at me is the difference between Butcher playing and not playing.

Like I said, "make of it what you wish," and of course these percentage figures can be misleading if you are looking at them without knowledge of the players and the games they have played.
Most of us will know when players have played and otherwise (Liam Smith only missed the second match of the season v Stenhousemuir) but they show general patterns.
I've put the percentages up for general interest, not to condemn or sanctify any players.

Sanctify Shankland and Butcher. Amazed Shankland's only 56% Pretty up there Appere and Nicky Clark. Liam Smith steady. McMullan useful when in the mood. One stat matters - 14 points - yessssss !

To explain: if a player played in almost all the games, as did Shankland and Smith (plus the unlisted Seigrist), then their figures would be very close to the overall 57% win, 23% draw, 20% loss rate of the club.
You shouldn't be amazed at the Shankland figures in these circumstances, as he only missed the Wafer Cup and two matches when he was on Scotland duty.
Seigrist only missed the Cowdenbeath and Arbroath (Wafer Cup) games, his figures are 58/21/21.
Trust it's ok to throw this into a stats thread.
There was some recent chat re how many players we used the season we won the league. 14 was given as an answer which is an exaggeration, I think it was 20 players we used, but there is a legitimate reason for the exaggeration...
So season 1983/83 we played 55 games, 36 League, 10 league Cup, 8 European, 1 Scottish Cup.
Incredibly Hegarty, Narey & Dodds never missed a single game.
Hamish missed 1 game, Malpas missed 4, Milne & Kirkwood missed 6.
After that we have Sturrock (45 appearances), Bannon (43) & Holt (37).
If we did use 20 players it means that 8 players played a combined total of not that many games.
It's like we fielded the same team every week.

It's no coincidence that this season our best run of form was when having a settled team (below). It's massively important and also Ross County and St Mirren as previous Championship winners were the exact same.
Seigrist, Smith, Watson, Reynolds, Robson, McMullan, Butcher, Harkes, Appere, Clark, Shankland
Not as easy to do in the top flight though.
