The SFA haven't made much comment about their premier tournament, but given the suggestion that United should be awarded the Championship trophy, and lesser sides Celtic, Raith and Cove their respective leagues, who should get the Scottish Cup?

Their opponents in the semi, Hibs, have lost seven goals, all against lower league (and Lowland League) clubs. Hearts have lost none.

Celtic's hardest match was St Johnstone, where a fluke put them through, other than that it's been lower league teams, and they've not kept a Cup Clean Sheet like the Jambos. Celtic did beat Clyde 3-0, but Hearts beat higher ranked Airdrie, 14 points ahead of Clyde when football stopped, 5-0. 

Aberdeen struggled at home to beat Dumbarton, who trail Airdrie by 10 points, then lost 3 goals to Kilmarnock. 

Hearts have been the most consistent performers in the Cup this year, and defeated Sevco in the last round (with a clean sheet) even with Steven McLean as the referee.

By the SPFL's measure, the SFA should clearly award Hearts the Scottish Cup.
