Watched the documentary on Saturday and thought it was very good , just confirmed my dislike for Italian football after 'Roma '.
Got me thinking could that level of corruption and deceit be hidden in today's world with all the technology we have or have we just started to except this i.e. Financial fair play rules being broken etc ?

I've got the documentary saved to watch, maybe tonight.
I think there's a huge amount of corruption, not just in football, but in sport in general.
It's in plain sight: the 2022 football World Cup being awarded to to Qatar, the 2015 European Games going to Azerbaijan, the Spanish getting away with doping over several sports.
Financial Fair Play rules in football are set in a way to allow cheating, to an extent: the authorities from the suspected club's home nation have to be involved to an extent, and they cover up when it suits.
I go to the football due to habit, enjoying the day out, and club loyalty, not because I think the game is conducted in a sporting and fair manner.

I go to the football ' cause it's United' , club loyalty and just to see football. Haven't enjoyed the football much lately and watching the 2010 cup final on you tube last night made me relies what we have been missing these past few years.
Can't say I miss not playing the old firm but do enjoy the bigger crowds and atmosphere the likes of Hibs, Hearts and Aberdeen bring.
Hope you enjoy the Maradona documentary Pat definitely worth a watch👍

Found the documentary really enjoyable, although felt there was quite a bit missing too.
It really concentrated on his time in Napoli, with the Italians not looking too great in their treatment of him after the WC semi final of 1990. However, his own character flaws brought about his fall from grace as well, but what a talent!

Yeah he was some player.
Found myself trawling through YouTube looking at compilations of some old footballers Pele, Di Sefano, Usabio etc. Ronaldo ( No 9 ) what a player . Never really followed any other football teams players apart from Utd.
