Some signing that would be for us.

Arguably the best centre back in the country outside of the cheeks.

He'd be a good signing.

Wonder what fee would be required though? Surely they'de still want about 250k?

A lot of money for Utd.

I’ll get shot down for this, but I’ve heard from someone I trust that Gauld’s back on the radar as well.

Would be, but the owner’s are obviously taking the “speculate to accumulate” approach, which really is the way to go for us if we’re to balance going for the top six and being financially sustainable. Much better than the Thompson approach of “hope you unearth a gem, sell him and then replace him with 💩”

Boy’s a good age, a good season or two with us and we could end up making a big profit on him. Doesn’t do any harm in this regard that the national team manager’s a big fan of him.

apparently he is doing well at the club he is on loan to at the moment

Yeah bud. Think it was a 3 year deal too. Playing week in week out. Star man by the looks of it. Captain for a couple of games. Has scored something like 9 goals in the last 8 games. Great to see. Such a talent.
