Note the word Events and not gatherings. Very piecemeal.
Bizarre that Edinburgh Airport gets 40,000 passengers per day and Glasgow 26,000 from all corners of the world. Think you've got more chance of catching sh1t there than u have at Gayfield.Billy, it's not about infection prevention: it is because football matches as events require policing and medical personnel which interferes with regular scheduling as it is. Airports, as an example, have emergency services based permanently on site.
It'll be interesting to see how the football authorities deal with the situation next week.
Will be more than interesting.
We don't need police at our games.
Stewards take care of that.
We don't need ambulance services at our games unless something happens that would have happened elsewhere anyway.
St Andrews 1st aid can be replaced by other folk easily to carry stretchures to our medical staff.
Shite state of affairs.
High Schools and nightclubs have mair fighting than oor fitba matches.
I'm scunnered with this decision. Really pissed off.

If you ignore the politicians and listen to what the genuine experts are saying then there’s no choice but to do what they’re doing as a minimum. I genuinely don’t believe there’ll be any games taking place next Saturday at all.

Arsenal manager Arteta has it now. Expect all English games this weekend to be cancelled.
Only a matter of time now.
