Copied this from another post. This the Daily Rangers reporting on the position of the SFA /SPFL. Make of it what you will.

Sensible moves by United: best to be over-cautious, given the business football clubs are in, with ever more demands for community contact, and the requirement to fulfill fixtures at specific points.
The Record story from Friday is full of supposition and pish.

sensible.

Yeah I can see the sense in the club putting this out.
Will hopefully stop folk approaching them for photos etc in the coming few weeks.
A shame it has come to this and it may seem like total overkill, but the club has a duty of care to the players and has to be seen to follow the advice they receive from health experts etc.

I dunno about overkill. 90 odd dead up to near 500 in just one day in Italy. There’s still people wanting to fly out there for a holiday! Dolly dimple.

And from reports the U.K.s stats are very, very similiar to Italy's.
Only we are about 3/4 weeks behind them in terms of 1st case.

I ken Pat, but what I was hinting at was that if there was any element of truth in it, would we get handed the title tae?

I'd say no truth in the story presently. Can't imagine the Scottish authorities being able to deal with such a situation rationally, and in any case, the SPFL giving Celtic the title when it's mathematically possible for Sevco to catch them is unimaginable.
By extension, right now if these steps were taken, Hearts would have to accept relegation, the three below us would (quite rightly ) have to be happy at us going up, Falkirk would consent to Raith Rovers being promoted and so on............... The SFA/SPFL haven't got a clue what they'd do in a more extreme situation, and would prevaricate until someone at UEFA gave the lead.
