I see there's a trialist playing for the U18s today... Fullback it seems.

Anyone any info?

Can overage players still play for the youth team this season?

The Reserves drew 1-1 away to Killie earlier today.

Logan Chalmers scored a stunning free kick to snatch Utd a point.

Re: Utd Reserves - 2019/20

I watched the 5 minute highlights of yesterday's game on the website and it looked like a very good game.

Ok, it was the highlights but watching some of these players I'm increasingly getting a good feeling about what's happening in the academy.

Allegedly and incredibly the academy budget is TEN TIMES the pre-Ogren days.

So as the 1st team limps towards automatic promotion (thanks to the other teams for their limping also) we should be happy, no, delighted, that the future is Tangerine.

If we can just consolidate in the Premier next season I'm thinking that 21/22 could see us with good cup runs & challenging for a European place with some of these young bucks lighting up Tannadice.
