3 quarters down - 1 to go

Quarter 1: 6 wins / 0 draws / 3 defeats = 18 points

Quarter 2: 9 wins / 0 draws / 0 defeats = 27 points

Quarter 3: 3 wins / 4 draws / 2 defeats = 13 points

Remaining fixtures:

7th March - Partick home
14th March - Morton away
21st March - Alloa home
27th March - Arbroath away
3rd April - QoS home
10th April - ICT away
18th April - Dunfermline home
24th April - Dundee away
2nd May - Ayr home

A clear picture of our season right there. Q2 has 95% won us this league - I think we took that run for granted whilst it was happening. What a record that is. Q3 obviously the most disappointing of them all. But the reality is, even a repeat of Q3 during Q4 and we'll still win the league, however - we need to ensure we pick up the pace and win out next 3 home games at the very least (Partick, Alloa, QoS). Morton and Arbroath away which are tough places to go in between those games before we get to our last 4 against the teams closest to us in the league (ICT away, Dunf home, Dees away, Ayr home) - ideally we'd want the league won before those last 4 games come around.

Big concern over our current performance levels BUT we have a big opportunity now on Saturday to get back on track, at home, against the team at the bottom of the league.

The big picture here is simple, we NEED to get promoted, and barring an absolute miracle, we will be promoted this season. How or when we do that will stir up a lot of discussion and disagreements, but at the end of the day, we need to get out of this league, regroup in the summer and start again.

Re: 3 quarters down - 1 to go

Yeah - even just 13 more points leaves very little margin of error for Inverness and even less for Ayr

Another positive from these statistics: the last nine fixtures you've listed are, in a different order, the exact home and away games we won the nine of in Quarter 2. I think ????

100% correct, exact same quarter. We can refer to that as 'The Nicky Clark quarter'.

Re: 3 quarters down - 1 to go

And of course Q4 is 5 at home, 4 away, venue reverse of Q2, which is even better.
The only two real away games are Morton & ICT, Arbroath & Dundee are like home games in terms of traveling.
(Morton away on 14th March LEK, you've got Alloa).
Interesting we had less losses in Q3 than Q1, Q1 & Q2 was when all our draws were coming out as wins if you get the drift.

Unsure what you mean by 'venue reverse of Q2', Smeds?

So am I Founder! Q2 & Q4 mirror each other. Q1 & Q3 are the venue reverses thanks for the correction.
