    Favourite DUFC Match of the 10's - The Final

    The 2nd Semi Final of the tournament witnessed victory registered for 'Match 2' which on this occasion was Rangers 2 Dundee United 3 (4/4/11). This Utd victory at Ibrox was of course famous for David Goodwillie's dramatic late winner after a last minute breakaway winner on the counter attack. Morgaro Gomis producing the killer pass that Goodwillie despatched with aplomb past a despairing Allan McGregor in the Rangers goal.

    The Cup Final in 2010. A great experience all round, bus to The Church on the Hill for opening time, mostly a lovely day weather wise, no Celtic or Rangers fans wasting the day out, result never in doubt. Funnily I can't remember much after coming out of Hampden, but back in pub next day for a few more celebratory refreshments (and something to eat, which had been forgotten about much of the previous day).

    Got to be the Cup Final. The disappointment with the 2014 final and the last few years just show how important the cup winning memories are.

    Match 2 please, the final was a great day or should I say great lang weekend, as I was also celebrating "The Bombay Fast" on the Monday, but although it was a historic silvery day, for me, although I would never have gone public, I was pretty sure the cup was going to be ours, not like the '94 cup final, now that was a week on the "Pat and Mick" self certification malarky, seventh heaven and a' that.


    Match 2, out of these two stands out as a proper GIRUY game, that third goal and Goodies celebration and watching those cunts spew, well that will always stand out as a red letter day fir me, I can understand why people would vote for the final and quite rightly so, but fir me this match had the lot right up to the last minute, conversely the final as magic as it was, was over well before it was over.
