Went past today and the redevelopment has begun as all the old astro has been removed

About time.

Seems daft to have a facility right outside the ground and never use it as it's so poor.

Would be great if we could put a roof over it (like the ones on Tannadice St for added character ) then it truly would be an all weather facility. Maybe a non starter due to the adjacent housing on Fairbairn Street though.

Trust status prevented certain works being carried out sensibly until very recently, but expiry means onwards and upwards.

No plans for a roof, according to ST on ArabZONE a while ago.
