If you trust my 'vision', I'd say that was the lad. Very busy player, nice touches and direct. But remember, the conditions weren't great.
FFS, I've got to go out in the wind and rain and try to 'Guess the Player', and folk are just telling you who we've got on trial while you sit in the warm? Suppose that's why you are the Owner of the Site, and I'm a mere serf.
To be honest, he was a bit of a tanner ba player, which is why his style caught my eye.Got a good feeling about him. He’s got the same birthday as my dad.
does that not make him about 60?
Nah, my dad’s been dead for 19 years. He’d have been 95.

Some talk of Freeman and Powers signing today. Assuming Freeman can play right away Robbie can play him at right back and Smith at left back on Saturday. Just a thought.

Nooooooo. Smith is not a left back!!!

Freeman is predominately a right back, but has turned out for Soton u23s as left back this season.
IF Robbie decides not to play Sporle at left back, it might cause less disruption for Freeman to slot in there.

I wouldn’t be against smith at left back that’s not the problem, it would be Watson at right back that is a huge problem for me!

Playing your right back at left back weakens two positions imo......

Hearing Alan Forrest to united on a pre contract is a done deal

Smith at left back was horrendous.
That whole fucking about with the back hurt us.

Glad to see we have strengthened our threadbare midfield although from his interview I have absolutely no idea what type of midfield player he is.
Was it just me our was that interview with Powers horrific? Cringe factor- aff the scale.

Pleased to see Keiran Freeman back at the club. He'll have very good qualities about him, and I've high hopes for his progress.

Agreed. Nothing against Joe Rice but listening to him stuttering through questions to both Powers and Freeman was a tough listen if I'm being honest.

I'm really surprised he's still in a job. He's lowping

His words were:
Likes to get on the ball, play forward passes, link the play and also break up play.
A quick youtube search shows that he is very headstrong and also idolises Xavi and says he modelled his game on him. If he has 1% of Xavi's ability with a bit of Butchers dig, he'll be an excellent addition to this squad.

Back of the Tully suggesting Dundee interested in Alan Forrest. I wonder if our interest is genuine also. Certainly a player I think would want to have a crack at the top flight at 24.

Massive pinch of salt but Twitter rumour saying Karamoko Dembele from Celtic on loan for rest of season. Apparently a 'wonderkid' but I doubt there is any truth in it. I feel like I'd rather our own youngsters are given the chance to impress.

It’s from same account that said Sinclair was signing absolutely rubbish

Looks a wee bit like James Milner.
Hopefully he has some of his qualities.

Harsh assessment I would say to say just pass marks. Thought he was really good for majority of match. His willingness to look for forward pass and finding the likes of Glass and Clark was impressive as well as his dig.
Has a robust build. My only hope is he adds a bit of sharpness and agility to his play to ensure he's always where he needs to be.
