The 7th match of the tournament witnessed victory registered for 'Match 1' which on this occasion was Dundee United 3 v Dundee 0 (19/8/12). This Derby win at Tannadice was mostly remembered of course for Johnny Russell's ferocious 30 yard strike on his left foot that thundered past Rab Douglas and into the top right hand corner of the Dundee net, to put Utd out of sight on the day.

Some crackers in there and the first 6-2 was a great day but I can't see past Match 1

I'm going Match 2.  My reasoning the 2010 cup win was not a patch on the '94 one and actually a bit of a damp squib by comparison.  Of course statistically way more important, but as a game of football the 6-2 has to be better.

2010 Final. Great day out prior to the match, no hassle before or after the match and result never in doubt.
