Sparkes is his agent. He hates United.
This was Scott Allan's agent too (i think?)
Figures.
Hearing various people say today the boy Banks is 100% away to Palace in January for £200,000.
So guess we won't see him in a Utd jersey again.
Dissapointing. The goals he scored for Clyde last season gave me hope that wee had a real talent on our hands.😒

Sorted as far as I'm concerned 👍

Looks awfy like he's being 'tapped', which is of course against the laws of the game but nearly impossible to prove.
To be confident of getting a lucrative move hasn't materialised out of thin air.

Course it hasn't. His agent will have priced him out of signing at tannadice knowing hes got an english club lined up. Stinks, but that's fitba.

I'm sure the agent only has the best interests of his clients long term career at heart and not the short term commission and increased payments due to him.
it is ridiculous for an agent to ask for a player who has made a couple of first team appearances to be asking to be one of the highest paid players at the club but that is clearly an agents tactic or just saying this is the offer he has match it or we're off!!

The thing is, the agent can't ask United to match another offer the player has been given, as that would be proof of Banks being tapped. He's just a young laddie, but the advice from his parents and family appears poor to us fans, from a career point of view.
His folks should have called him Robin instead of Scott.

Good riddance! Silly wee laddie, got absolutely no time for that
Goodbye Scott dont let the door hit u on the way out

He is signing for Crystal Palace on a pre-contract.
Utd should just ask Palace if they want to pay the 200k now instead of taking it to tribunal. And it get's him away as he clearly won't play for us again. It does neither party any good him not playing football for another 6/7 months.
Gives Neilson a bit to get a Striker in to replace Clark.

I’d be surprised if he doesn’t now leave this month tbh. Makes sense.

Crystal Palace have agreed a “substantial” transfer fee with Dundee United to sign their talented youngster Scott Banks.Sources close to the English Premier League club have confirmed that they have thrashed out a six-figure fee to land the Scotland under-19 international.Palace signed the winger on a pre-contract earlier this month and could have signed him for £200,000 in training compensation in the summer.Record Sport understands that the deal is far in excess of that and is worth significantly more in future add-ons

That'll do then
