This is a strange appointment. Probably the cheapskate option by Ayr.

Expect them to be discounted as genuine title challengers now over the next few months and expect Dunfermline to replace them as the side alongside Dundee and ICT who will be our main challengers.

They actually pass the ball about well (better than us). But their lack of a replacement at all for Shankland is gonna be their big downfall.

Strange appointment aye.

They scored plenty without Shankland before Jobby left. The boy Forrest has scored 7 in 10 I think is the wee brother of James Forrest.

Mark Kerr was a big part of their success so glad he's manager as it's mair unlikely he'll play as player manager and the fact they've lost alot since he took over & the fact they have a wee squad is good for us.

Thought the dees played a tactical game tae keep them playing too deep that worked well. Normally it's us taking that tactic to our demise.
