We, as fans, need to just forget it & look to the next one (or two, at home).
Let the players & staff analyse it & hopefully learn from it. 6 points in the next two would be a good response.
The next 2 home games against Arbroath and Morton we need 6 points imo. They are the games we need to be winning especially at home. We don't take maximum points from both it will be massively disappointing.

Seen a few folk mention it, not only here but across other sites: surely Robbie didn't go with Shankland up top himself today? If so, I shouldn't be surprised, some managers, including Robbie, brood over their team choices too much when they should go with the obvious.
It was McMullan right, Pawlett centre, Appere left in a 3 behind Shankland. And it didn’t ever look like working.
Thank you The Shed.
Teams will always get a result like we did at Ayr, these things happen. So, while that was a discouraging scoreline, the bigger disappointment is Robbie changing a system which had produced results.

Also when you consider how many times 4-2-3-1 was ineffective last season and Robbie stuck with it.
Hope it has the right effect and made the team realise there is a long way to go to win this league

There’s nothing wrong with 4231 with the right players, we don’t have and didn’t have last season the right players to play 4231. If he wants to play that he should have signed folk that can play it effectively. Otherwise play what’s worked.

Shocking management. Should have been exactly same team and just as attacking as last 65m v Dundee. More Pap than Pep (who at least can blame his defeat on VERY dodgy CH pairing) Arbroath and beating them is now huge to get back on track quickly.

I actually thought Louis did well out on the left on Saturday - he is effective there. But I agree, if he is out there then keep somebody else up front with Shankland.
