To be fair to him he's put the work in and shown improvement and a willingness to learn so well done to him

Credit where it’s due, when you think back to the reactions of people when Csaba handed him a new deal, to where he is now, one of our most consistent and reliable performers, having beaten off a big money, high profile foreign signing to claim the starting jersey, he’s really turned his United career around in a way I never saw coming.
Because of how long he’s been around the first team, you forget just how young Robson is. He’s been unfortunate in that some of the criticism he received was in a large part due to the unhappiness of the fan base. Now that the Thompson cloud has lifted and some good older heads are in the changing room with him, his form’s been night and day.
Praise also due to Robbie and the coaching staff, the mark of a good coach is the ability to improve players, so to see guys like Robson, McMullan and Benji playing like they are now is a credit to their abilities on the training ground

Great news really pleased for him and the club

Jamie Robson must have played under 8 or 9 different managers, most of them providing little guidance.
In spite of this, I've always thought he had something about him: if he had a fault, it was trying to do too much in terms of covering for team mates, or not getting supported down the left himself, again by team mates.
And he must also have often under pressure from the fans, which didn't help: but it's understandable, given the overall shit we've watched over the last few years.

He has improved his strength. Dundees only tactic was to bombard him with high balls 12months plus ago he would have collapsed under the pressure. Contract deserved for a player who has worked on his weaknesses

Well done to Jamie.
If the last contract extension wasn't deserved, then this one certainly is.
The lad has knuckled down. Good on him.

Glad it’s working out for him. It really does help having a better CH inside him aswell.

Aye, he's had some veriety of colleagues, support and management for a Utd player his age.
The clusterfuck of the bad, personal, learnings and experience won't see him bad if he uses the experience personally well tae kick on.
