Fuck knows what the setup is there. Bert makes the bench, deserves a start ahead of the two from last week who yet again, keep their place.

You never know, they might surprise us.

Naamo and Farrugia either side of Sapsford I'd imagine

Early Iovu yellow card because our lack of fullbacks leaves us exposed once more

3 at the back does not work with these players, but hey

Re: Aberdeen VS Dundee United - Saturday 9th May

Agyei having to run everywhere is making him sloppy.

This defence is diabolical.

Re: Aberdeen VS Dundee United - Saturday 9th May

Sevelj on a free kick trying to find a man to play it to and literally no one made a run.

This attack is pathetic, farrugia has been ‘ok’.

Re: Aberdeen VS Dundee United - Saturday 9th May

Rank rotten.
An embarrassment to Dundee United Football Club

Can't control the ball
Can't pass the ball
No shape
No cohesion
No idea

Aberdeen fans taunting Keresztes at every touch

Uncoached garbage.

But folk saying we should keep this hopeless keeper because he's cheap and good in the dressing room? Joke keeper. Joke decision to keep him.

Anyway, a disgraceful absolutely rotten performance today.
No clue. No football. No coaching. Nothing. Absolutely nothing. Zero.

Very worrying. Very very concerning.

Do we win games because we're well coached and lose them because we're badly coached. No, we're badly coached all the time.
He's going to empty Tannadice at this rate.

Re: Aberdeen VS Dundee United - Saturday 9th May

Richards  2  Hopeless get rid
Strain 3 Useless get rid
Iovu Was he playing? 4
Graham 3 Nervous wreck. What's happened
Keresztes 1 Bombscare poser
Ferry 6 Gave 100%
Sevelj 3 Is his head on holiday
Agyei 5 Strain put him in trouble for booking 2
Naamo 3 played out of position
Ferrugia 3 Not good enough get rid
Watters 0 Less said the better
Sapsford 3 Tried hard but gets no service
Camara 3 Idiotic Cruyff turn attempt cost us a goal
Eskeson 4 can at least control a football and pass
Dolcek 4 Tried to impact but brought into a shapeless mess

Goodwin 1 at least he changed the garbage at half time to new garbage in the second half eh. A clueless coach.
Lee Sharp 1 Second rate 'coach' as evidenced by our complete lack of craft, cohesion, passing ability, chance creation. (See also J Goodwin)

Dave Bowman 10 (out of 10) for still being there.

Re: Aberdeen VS Dundee United - Saturday 9th May

Must be about 4 times Richards has had an easy save and pushes the ball right into the path of the striker leading to a goal, he is the worst of the three goalkeepers this season.

There is no argument for offering him a deal, even as a backup.

Re: Aberdeen VS Dundee United - Saturday 9th May

Wouldn’t keep any the defence/goalkeepers that are out of contract, all brutal inc the captain.

Kucherenko punched the ball behind himself, I'd say he was the worst myself

Not disagreeing with your point of course

Apart from Agyei and Sevelj I can't think of one player I'd miss.  Obviously that does not include Fatah,Ferry and Luca as they will Obviously be greatly missed

Re: Aberdeen VS Dundee United - Saturday 9th May

Started the match with no fewer than nine players who have played in defence at some point in time and/or are defensively minded players. An utterly disgraceful line-up that tells me that Goodwin went there to not lose rather than to try and win. He's deployed this demoralising tactic many, many times as United Boss.

To once again not start Johnny Russell is two fingers up to the fans as far as i'm concerned. It's becoming obvious that the signing was made over his head and he's stubbornly decided he just won't use him. His stubbornness will be his ultimate undoing. He's done this in reverse with players like Jordan Tilson and Max Watters whereby everyone has questioned what they bring and he's played them consistently anyway, almost as if to say 'i'm in charge'. Stevie Clarke does similar, of course.

The penalty we were denied on Dolcek an utter disgrace, but that doesn't mask what was another pathetic performance away from home.

That he is wanting to offer new contracts to Richards, Graham and Keresztes should alarm everyone. It has been a complete anti-climax of a season, but Goodwin is seemingly embracing this acceptance of mediocrity. Surely that must be a huge red flag to even the staunchest of Goodwin supporters out there?

My player ratings -

Richards 6 - Yet another goal shipped because he can't strongly palm a ball away or catch it. To offer him a new contract is bewildering.

Strain 5 - Slow as a week in Barlinnie.

Iovu 5 - Poor

Graham 5 - Simply not good enough. Positionally all over the place at times.

Keresztes 5 - Weak as fuck and just constant braindead decision making.

Ferry 6 - Poor by his recent standards.

Agyei 6 - Probably our best player, but you could see a mile away he was going to get a red. Goodwin fucked up big time taking Vicko off and not Manny. He's being asked to do far too much in midfield btw.

Sevelj 5 - Poor

Farrugia 6 - Said it once, i'll say it a thousand times. A tidy enough player, but zero attacking threat.

Sapsford 5 - Just constantly playing for cheap fouls. So frustrating to watch him these days.

Naamo 5 - Anonymous, as per. Iraq must be hopeless.

Subs -

Watters 4 - Only have to see this donkey play twice more, so there's one positive.

Dolcek 5 - Flatters to deceive too much when he comes on. Should have won us a penalty, but could have got his shot away instead of cutting in. Horrendous free kick attempt and idiotic booking when he was not long on.

Eskesen 6 - Actually wasn't bad. Played a few nice passes. One on a plate for Watters when it looked easier to score than miss.

Camara 4 - Headless chicken.

Russell 5 - The way a United cult Hero has been treated is shameful. Completely wasted his time. Goodwin can get fucked.

Re: Aberdeen VS Dundee United - Saturday 9th May

I would love to get a message to Johnny Russell to say sorry. An absolute dream to have you back but you have been hoodwinked and deceived by that utter disaster in the dugout.

Shambolic way to treat a player who started his life at this club.

GTF goodwin you useless disgrace.

Another reason why Adams should have been in goal, we have seen Richards making mistakes ALL season why on earth has he been giving the these split games, truly baffling

Re: Aberdeen VS Dundee United - Saturday 9th May

Watching Well v Hearts reminds me that another indicator of a lack of proper coaching is our terrible decision making on the ball.
It's been evident all season but today was the worst I've seen it.
It's not something that's just down to the quality and skill of the player, it's something that can be coached even to average players.

Makes you wonder what's going on at St Andrews .
