I don’t want to lose Will Ferry but 1.8 million for a player out of contract in 12 months isn’t bad work at all. James Penrice went for around the same at hearts so comparing them two, it’s a fair fee. If he had 2 years left, he’s worth over 2 million.

Not arsed about the fee but only in his replacement when he does leave (i don’t think it’ll be to Czechia).

I've gone into this summer fully expecting Ferry to be away so have not given any thought at all to him turning out for us next season. Whether he takes part in pre season or not is an irrelevance tbh and the sooner a deal that suits the club gets done the better. Shame we can't unload Conway as part of the deal! 🥱
