Re: Dundee Vs DUFC - Sunday 15th March (2PM)

I'm hoping there might be a tribute of some kind to Gordon Wallace.

The word is it's 3 at the back again 🫤😡

He's only got himself to blame when the fans turn on him again, absolute stubborn cunt.

A team with the weakest of mentalitys, coached by a manger with the mentality of being a loser and this is the result.

The captain the biggest culprit.

Absolutely dreadful

Re: Dundee Vs DUFC - Sunday 15th March (2PM)

Anyone really surprised at that today?
More surprised at us being 2 up and actually playing quite well.
Story of the season though, just a shower of complete losers from top to bottom.

Re: Dundee Vs DUFC - Sunday 15th March (2PM)

not at the game but seemed liked we just sat back and tried to defend after 80 mins - stopped closing down and sat off them, whomever gave that instruction cost us the win today imo

Re: Dundee Vs DUFC - Sunday 15th March (2PM)

The Blairgowrie Mark Durnan shines again.

Imagine him being captain? 😂

A loser manager breeds loser players.

Same as always.

Furious with that conclusion today, but not in the least bit surprised.

Even games like today where we play well and completely dominate the opposition, there is a mentality that from the 80th minute onwards we just sit deeper and deeper and deeper and invite pressure on to ourselves. That mentality was also prevalent in the team last season btw. It just so happened that we had Centre halves who could deal with set pieces a lot better.

We will never ever, ever go anywhere with Jim Goodwin as DUFC Manager.

You can sign an entire new starting XI next season, but so long as he's in the dugout that weak, defensive, cautious, loser mindset will permeate the entire club.

Genuinely sickened by United right now.

P.s. Ross Graham should be stripped of the Captaincy. Never ever seen a head loss like that from a United player in that one minute at the end. Should have been sent off for his ludicrous challenge that gives them the free kick. Then laughing about it, before smashing it into his own net. Just GTF.

The complete antithesis of what a Captain should be i.e. a Leader, dominant, assured, calm a good talker etc etc.

Re: Dundee Vs DUFC - Sunday 15th March (2PM)

I was literally 2 minutes from coming on here to congratulate the team on an excellent performance and a thoroughly deserved victory.....and then that!

I reckon if that happened in Colombia people would be screaming out loud about match fixing, utterly utterly shambolic from United and it's a shame it isn't Colombia because Ross Graham needs putting down for that display.

I don't honestly think I've ever been this disillusioned with United. Well I probably have tbh but this is just another really fucking low point

Was at Auchswitz on Friday.

Nothing compared to checking the circumstances of today's result.

Even as a joke mate that's beyond distasteful.
I would take it down.

Re: Dundee Vs DUFC - Sunday 15th March (2PM)

That was pathetic. Genuinely embarrassing. Ross Graham should be stripped of the captaincy. They treated that at the end like it was a cup final with their subs running over the pitch and their fans on the pitch. That’s the problem, they seem to want it more, they hate us more. Elvis has installed into them what we’re missing & that’s fight, desire and passion. The squad is full of dross & shitebags who’ve downed tools imo & are not worthy of playing for our club.

I’m not actually that arsed or surprised at today. That says a lot about where we are right now. What i’m more pissed at is if we played like that last Friday in the cup, we have a real chance of lifting the Scottish cup. We should’ve appointed an experienced groundsman but instead the club fucked that up and it ended up biting us in the arse with the backlog of games. It absolutely fucked any chance of the top 6 as well.

Close to the bone, but I'm of Jewish descent, a joke so ridiculous, I'm sure folk can seen there's no intent or harm meant.

Re: Dundee Vs DUFC - Sunday 15th March (2PM)

For the last fortnight I've said I would take a draw today. But to throw away the game like that, felt like a defeat.
You could see us from 80 mins onwards getting more casual at the back letting them get into the game. You knew a goal was coming. We cannot keep clean sheets.
That second goal just summed up our season. Self inflicted.

I'll be glad to see the back of the majority of that squad and the manager come the end of the season. For a season that started with plenty of promise its turned out pretty fucking awful.

These two points from ADS and others, say it all. The story of the Season.

Yip. The number of times we've corralled oorsells like cattle, inta a pen in oor ain box, for the last period oe umpteen gehms is beyond it. Cost us wins and points galore.

Re: Dundee Vs DUFC - Sunday 15th March (2PM)

It's the job of the manager to coach players how to play out of being hemmed in.
Hoofing the ball back to the opposition every time just shows that they haven't been coached how to find a solution to that.

This manager has proved time and time again that he doesn't have the ability to coach properly let alone instill a winning mentality.
