Dundee United vs Spartans - Saturday 7th February

Re: Dundee United vs Spartans - Saturday 7th February

AMB
Naamo lovu graham ferry
Camera sibbald Stephenson
Fatah sapsford trap

When’s sevelj back, I’d have him in at right back or Stephenson. Not this game but going forward.

It's indicative of our plight that Camara walks straight back in after his stupidity last week. Apart from that I agree with the team choice.

Re: Dundee United vs Spartans - Saturday 7th February

It's probably indicative of where we are that so many folk pick Sibbald as a guaranteed starter. He's the 2020's Willo Flood.

Re: Dundee United vs Spartans - Saturday 7th February

Any word if the whole pitch has been covered for tomorrow? I know volunteers were asked last week to help remove the covers.

Re: Dundee United vs Spartans - Saturday 7th February

Aberdeen v Motherwell postponed, United tweeting about preparations today so I'm assuming the pitch is ok.

It's rained all week, but nowhere near as heavy and prolonged as the other week.

Any threat to the game tomorrow would anyone say?

Re: Dundee United vs Spartans - Saturday 7th February

I think the fact we got it 'playable' v Hearts and there was more rain in the build up to that, it should be ok.

But, it is United.

United employee on the Arabs anonymous Facebook group said there’s an inspection in the morning nothing official from the club though.

Isn't Arabs Anonymous broadcasted from and to the occupants of the loony bin?

Re: Dundee United vs Spartans - Saturday 7th February

Probably no bad thing given the mood at the moment, but I suppose it could get worse.

By the time it goes ahead we will know the possible ( if we we beat Spartans) opponents. We may see a good chance of getting to a semi at Hampden .
With the lack of excitement at Tannadice these days even the potential of a wee Semi is something to be thanfull for.

See Jim is sitting at Parkhead sizing up the opposition for when we beat Spartans

Cup quarters draw on after Stenny v Falkirk

Re: Dundee United vs Spartans - Saturday 7th February

Falkirk away if we can get through…

Re: Dundee United vs Spartans - Saturday 7th February

Uglies drawn together, Falkirk away is tough( if we beat Spartans of course which under Jim is not a given) but there were still worse draws and it's a chance for a semi final. But lets just focus on Spartans for now anyway.

A chance at the weekend to see if Jim has learnt anything from the last time we played Falkirk.  If we get hammered then sack him and go all out for McGlynn
