Probably braced for the usual misery tomorrow.
What are we all expecting tomorrow then?
Eskesen, Dolcek, Pappoe and Ferry away? Any others?
I have a sneaky feeling Watters might be sent back down to Yorkshire.
What we expecting incoming?
A midfielder on loan perhaps? Maybe even a Striker on loan if Watters is punted?

Adam Barton on loan probably 🫤

Eskesen and Dolcek away.
While they won’t be missed, we could do with a loan signing from someone in Scotland to boost the ranks. We’re crying out for a striker
Offline

Midfielder has to be brought in- currently only have 2 available.
Going forward we need options- Sapsford is our best number 9, but he’ll have to play to play on the wing if a forward isn’t brought in.
If ferry goes we’re in deep shit.
Scunnered hy the whole club atm.

Think Eskesen and Dolcek will leave.
Watters won’t be recalled unless Barnsley have someone willing to take him (which is very doubtful)
We will surely sign a midfielder. Would like a decent striker too but seems unlikely
11pm deadline is it?

Think it's 7pm

Eskesen and Ferry will be away. Dolcek too perhaps but only if his club find a buyer.
None in- a loan midfielder if we're lucky- Jim will be happy with the squad we've got and have able replacements ready to step in blah blah blah. But after another series of poor results he'll mention that we are light in numbers like the fud he is.
Aside from the keeper probably (hardly difficult) we'll be weaker than before the
window which is standard stuff now for
this club.

The fact that Dolcek and Eskenen haven't been featuring isn't a great loss in terms of what they bring, but it leaves us light in numbers.
I think personally we should persist with Moller, (he's our player) over Watters, but neither are the answer, would prefer a proper mobile no9, but this late in the window it's not happening, Sevelj is still out, Camara and Fatah will be missing the next two games.
That means we're going with Sibbald and Stephenson at Easter Road, Faruggia looks like he's got a bit of skill about him, but he'll need time to settle into the team, I certainly wouldn't be throwing him in as wingback after Goodwin said he was here as a forward option.
Naamo isn't ready to play RWB/RB yet so if Ferry goes and that's the answer, jeez.

To answer your question TEK , what I'm expecting by the ime the window closes.
Because the club in struggling atm no matter what happens in the rest of the window it will been as a disastrous window by many fans.
I expect more stick for Ogren and the Goodwins.

Potentially one in, potentially one out according to the manager.

Keeping Ferry until the end of the season would be good business for us. We don't need to be finding a replacement for him. I don't think Farrugia is a wing back.
If we can upgrade Eskesen that would also be positive. I'd like to see Watters either return or knuckle down and try to secure the place that he's actually the best fit for. If he returns then we need to add another striker.

The fact that our priority outfield position to strengthen in this window according to Alan Temple was a winger is fucking baffling to me, and shows the manager/recruitment team aren’t seeing what the rest of us are seeing.
We have no midfielders that can dictate the tempo of a game or play a line breaking pass in behind a packed defence. Two of our three main strikers are absolutely shite and the other gets out on the wing most of the time, so why the fuck did we decide the best use of our limited funds was to add another player in a position we already have 4 or 5 players capable of playing in?

I might have been making it up, but did Farrugia not seem to play a bit more centrally than previously advertised on Saturday night? Maybe due to being down to 10? I wondered, given his directness, whether he's a bit of a poor man's Mulligan?
I don't think Goodwin sees a line breaking pass player as essential. I think he's happy to pack out the midfield with industrious ball winners. Pappoe was the exception. Are we not replacing him because he's our player next year?

Which just means they'll sell Ferry outwith the UK window to a MLS side.
By which time we conveniently have no time to get anyone else in.
They honestly must think we're all buttoned up the back.

If that is indeed what happens, I think there will be a big backlash, of course Ferry hasn't been up to the same standard as last season, but he's the only only who can do what he does. To let the window shut here and let him go once it's closed and with no replacement will create a lot of badwill.

That won’t matter to Ogren, as long as he claws back another chunk of the money he stupidly spunked in, he’ll not bother how it affects us on the pitch.

Dolcek going nowhere it would seem according to The Courier.
If he's looking for a move elsewhere in the summer, now might be the time to get the finger out Ivan, also if we're gonna play him, pass it to him on the edge of the opposition box not ours.

massive opportunity for him to get back in the team coming up, Goodwin HAS to play him imo
Otherwise this is completely pointless.
Got a feeling he’ll still be getting splitters in his arse while we watch moller or watters through the middle and sapsford on the wing.
Offline

Interest in Eskenen might not be concrete either. If he's here get him on the pitch on Saturday feeding Moller and Sapsford, if we can't get a tune out of him v Spartans then get him boiled down for glue.

Was hoping Barnsley selling Keillor-Dunn to Wrexham would mean Watters going back but they've just signed another striker
