And the reports of 300,000 euros(not pounds) for Kucherenko is available on reddit or footmob or some shite but I doubt there's any truth whatsoever

More made up nonsense by the DFC fan on the messageboardIt is 100% FACT we paid half a million pounds for they two.
DFC fan? Another clown that resorts to that when hearing the truth.
Can almost guarantee you weren't there last night.

August Bank Holiday weekend,I was driving to Blackpool for most of the game. We were already 2-0 down when I set off so I told the missus fuck it I'll just check the score once we get to the hotel room, she came back from the bathroom to find me sat there mouth wide open looking at that fucking scoreline on my phone in disbelief. Forever welded into my memory unfortunately 🫤
Had a bad feeling about this, so didn't go, went for a long walk with the missus, avoided everything to do with the game.
Came home, young lad "Dad for the sake of your sanity, don't check the score!"
For a moment I thought we'd replicated the Alkmaar home game, thumped them 3-0, 4-1, I checked the score just sat there numb and in a state of disbelief.
Some folk blame Goodwin for relegation as with 5 to go we were tenth, but this set of spineless bastards were the ones that turned in that performance, the one away in Alkmaar, who offered hope on occasion by putting in a battling performance or result out of nowhere, but they collectively threw Ross under a bus, then they did the same to Fox* and ultimately Goodwin.
Set of pricks.
*Fox should never have been appointed, was well out his depth, Ross's arrogance that we didn't need a real midfield spoiler and quality would win through was daft, but that set of players were far better than what they delivered, they picked an chose when to perform.
And as always the the manager(s) falls on the sword, players are allowed to play on, often never getting any flack,
Wankers, and there's only one left that took part that day, he was a young lad, thrown in because egos of senior players and that'll be on his CV for the rest of his days unfortunately.

As I have said before many on here seem to have short memories of just how bad we have been in very recent years. We're not in a terrific place at the moment, but it is so much better than not so long ago.
Goodwin, for me, is cut some slack for bringing a little pride back. Obviously slack doesn't last for ever though...

There's no one singular thing that is to blame for where we are. It's a perfect storm.
Ogren doesn't know football, maybe he knows a bit about the sterile appoach in the MLS, but he doesn't know Scottish football, the blood and snotters type of game we play. He appears more concerned about getting his money back that he spunked up the wall than he is in the club itself. On a side note, where his son these days, you know the one that allegedly convinced him to buy a play thing in Scottish football?
Goodwin seems to be struggling. To me, it appears his footballing styles been found out by other managers and he doesn't know how to mix it up. Other have pointed out that he always seems to change the team to counter the opposition instead of letting them try and figure out how to play against us. Is that down to a lack of belief in his abilities, the players or both? It also looks to me like he has lost the dressing room a bit. I saw the way some of the players were reacting to his instructions during the game. Lets just say, it didn't look like there was much respect there. Is that down to poor man management, bad training, or is he just a bit of a prick towards teh players? I also don't understand how we find ourselves in a situation where we are looking like we will have brought 3 players in during the summer but are actively looking to move them on (the keeper has gone and it looks like Eskessen and Dolcek are heading out too). Why is that? Is it poor recruitment, is it a case that these players have downed tools? Whatver the reason, its not a good look.
Some of the player don't look fit. Strain plays like he was out on a sesh the night before, Moller looks like he's playing in slow motion and I don't know why (from memory) Trapanovski hasn't played a full 90 minutes in a long time.
There's a cloud hanging over the club just now and it feels like there's a real disconnect between the fans, hte club and it also seems like there are disconnects between the board, the management and the players.

It's not as bad just now as what is previously was, I think the concern for a lot of us is that we are a club in decline and it feels a lot like it did before when things ended up going tits up for a while. I think we're free-wheeling towards problems and no-one appears to be doing much about it.
I'm not calling for his head, yet, but I want to know when this 'cut Goodwin some slack' gesture end? He's been getting slack cut since August and nothing is changing. We have to ask why and figure out what the problem is that's holding us back and get it sorted.

The Tannadice pitch this morning 🤦🏻
Can't actually believe what I'm seeing.
Online!

Although the tite is fed up, im a bit less fed up knowing I don't have to sit and watch a game in that miserable weather.
Would've been decent if i'd seen the above picture last night before I purchased my boys tickets for the sheep game though.

The club being entirely disingenuous putting up a link for tickets for both games yesterday.
I'm shattered with what's happening at our club currently.

It's probably some kind of machine trying to dry the pitch, they're not exactly tractor wheels are they.

Maybe, but if you’re sensible you wait to find out if it’s on first before buying. Myself on the other hand likes to be in my seat so I purchased as soon as they were on sale.

Not sure what the weather’s been like on the west coast recently, but the state of the pitch is entirely believable given the weather we’ve had here for the past few weeks. I can’t remember the last time I seen sunlight, or even a few hours where it didn’t rain.
I’m as scunnered with United as anyone, but there’s not much any club can do about the weather we’ve been having. You can’t keep covers on the pitch 24/7, the pitch would be 10x worse than it currently is if we did.
I don’t know what their plan is with it though, that pitch is gonna be an absolute mess for the rest of the season.

Forfar seem to have gotten their game on somehow. Only 14 miles from Dundee.
I'm not suggesting the rain hasn't impacted the pitch btw. Of course it has.
But to see it in the complete shambles it's in looks like utter incompetence and mismanagement.

Yeah, on a plastic pitch…
It might look like a shambles to the SFA and the SPFL who are based 90 miles away. Now I’m no expert on turf management, but anyone that’s stayed in the North East over the past two weeks will tell you there’s next to nothing the club can do about the state of the pitch at the moment. I’ve never known rain as persistent as this, and it doesn’t look like it’s ending anytime soon.

Couple of years ago we had torrential rain. Storm after storm and floods everywhere.
We were also playing in the Championship.
How many games were called off at Tannadice at that time? I don't remember any.
When has our pitch ever resembled anything like that picture?

There's been a huge amount of rain for weeks, have you seen some of the images from around the UK of the flooding? We are not the only premiership team having the same problem. The pitch is made of grass and mud, what's the best thats gonna happen realistically? I dont live in Dundee so can't testify to how bad it was a couple of years ago but I'll wager there were breaks in the weather that there haven't been this time around. None of us are happy right now and there's a lot of things not being done properly but Dundee United cannot stop the rain from falling.

It was pishing down for weeks just like now and it was a lot more heavy.
Pitch was already a shambles for the Ayr game and now it looks like something out of the 80's.
Nothing to do with blaming the club for rain falling, more to do with blaming them for neglect.

Neglect of what? What do you think would help with the pitch? I'm no groundsman so perhaps you know more than me? Is it just a simple case of poor drainage or not covering the pitch sufficiently? Surely there has to be a reason our groundsman hasn't been able to cope. But like I said there are other premiership teams having the same problem, are they being neglected too?

The neglect is there clear to see, Have another look at the photo, do you think it's good enough?
Like I said a couple of years ago with more rain the pitch was fine.
Couldn't give less of a shite about other teams.

I know the weather can just beat you and there’s not much you can do about it. But that pitch is a disgrace, and who is driving on top of a problem area of the pitch?
Borders on negligence. Ogren will be a bit annoyed in a few weeks when he checks in on what’s going on.
