Any news on Zac Sapsford and Iurie Iovu and whether either (or both) will be available for Saturday's visit of Hibernian?

That is a blow. He was very good against Motherwell.

What about Camara? We play so much better with him in the team.

Heard last week he might not be back until Celtic away or Ayr United in the Scottish cup.

Tough game tomorrow. They’ll of sold the shed and we’ll have our usual 8000 so it’s gonna be a good atmosphere. As long as we don’t lose I’ll be happy.

Don't know what to make of HIbs, seem great one week then poor the next - bit like us I guess. Will be a really tough game though. If we can battle and defend like we did in the 2nd hald on Wednesday, we'll have a good chance.

If we don't lose tomorrow then a win and two draws in a week against Motherwell, Celtic and Hibs is good going.
Win the game and it's a great week.

A win today would put us right back in the mix for the top six places. I'm not confident this will happen as based on what I've seen so far the squad is not good enough for that.
However hopefully JG will now see that Sevelj is a defender not a midfielder. In JGs defence we are still well short in midfield. Stephenson is far more effective as a wing back leaving currently only Sibbald as a natural midfielder. We would be a different team with Camara and Pappoe in there but injuries are preventing that . Camara is increasingly looking like the African Ross Docherty. Esskissen looks ike he will go down as a failed signing.
The midfield is the No1 priority,.no change that No2 after a goalkeeper in January. It's a difficult window though I only have to say Campbell Fiorini & Paton to bring Arabs out in a cold sweat mixed with a fair bit of anger.

I'd argue gk is not #1 January priority.
Dave has got the gloves and deserves to hold on to them.
He's had 5 games now and didn't put a foot wrong on Wednesday.
Over the piece I'd give him 9/10 which is away higher than some of the keeping I see on TV, boys with a weekly wage 50 times more (£100k v £2k). Great goalies are ones who don't blunder too often.
He kicks a long ball too.

What makes you think JG will see Vicko as a defender not a midfielder 😎
All the evidence points to this being unlikely 😁
Slightly tongue in cheek but .. . .

Are you including St Mitrens 2nd goal in your 9/10 rating?
Dreadful goalkeeping.

Disappointing not to win that. Felt we were the better team for large parts, despite it being a bit of a patchwork team on the pitch.
Need to hope Keresztes or Iovu (or both) are back fit for the Aberdeen match. It looks worryingly that Ross Graham will now be out for a period, hopefully it isn't hamstring related again.
Stephenson will now miss the Aberdeen match through suspension also which is a huge blow, particularly with Camara still injured.
Finally, Nickolaj Moller is a complete empty jersey and waste of a sub every week. For those saying Owen Stirton isn't ready, he literally couldn't do less. I'm starting to think Goodwin and him have fell-out as it's bizarre not to give the kid any minutes.

Injury list piling up again at the worst possible time. Defence is going to be down to the bare bones and losing Graham again is disastrous. Looks like 442 will be utilised more as we won't have enough fit CBs to play 3 of them!

A goal up and Haddie #1 wants all day to make it 2 and put us in a match winning position.
Remove Haddie #1 replace with Haddie #2, persist with long high punts to Haddie #2
If that's your plan for a football match Goodwin you've lost me.
These players are playing DESPITE you.

I think over the course, a draw was a fair enough result.
I felt in the first half, Hibs had plenty of chances and, as happened on Wednesday, we got a bit of luck. HT 1-1 flattered us a bit.
Second half, as happened on Wednesday, we were so much sharper and aggresive in the second half. We need to be better at striking the ball, Fatah, Sevelj, Sibbald iirc all had half decent chances that should have hit the target, and Trap was unlucky a couple of times also.
Going to be a patchwork team for the next couple of games at least now though. Graham, I'm hoping was just mote precautionary...he seemed to be walking OK at FT. KK was holding his kneed in the first half, but again, maybe just a bit of precaution. Stephenson taking a ban now, but at the time, I felt it was a 'good' foul to make.
SCH was fantastic I though...cool as you like and I can't remember any time he was beaten or lost the ball.
Not sure what's up with Watters - nothing like the player he was before the injury...wonder if the Pen Miss @ Killie has knocked his confidence.
Echo what Tek says...Moller is an absolute waste of a shirt, at least last season with VDS, you could see he was trying. Moller is a lazy pr1ck and Stirton absolutely should be getting on the park before him.
I think any of us would have been content with 5pts from the 3 games this week so I'm not going to be too downhearted. I also think that looking down the league, we really shouldn't have to worry about getting dragged into a battle now.

We were pretty good today, just couldn’t find that second goal. But can’t fault the fight amongst the players, led by Sibbald and Stephenson today. Ferry’s been much better the last couple games, thought today was probably the best he’s been this season, and it was also good to see SCH get a run out. We were kinda fucked by having to use our last sub with 20+ minutes to go.
Thon Miller though, Jesus wept. I didn’t think it would be possible to downgrade on Van der Sande, but boy have we… massively. My heart dropped when I seen him getting ready to come on. He is absolutely stinking, slow as fuck, no aggression, gets smaller when he jumps… if he jumps at all, his positioning is the worst I’ve ever seen, instead of staying between the posts, he peels off wide and deep to the half spaces where he knows he’s not gonna effect the game, and even if the ball does fall to him there, he’s too slow to do anything with it. An absolute shitebag of a player that offers us absolutely nothing. Comfortably walks into our worst ever XI along with the likes of Lyng and Barton.
Wtf has Stirton done for this imposter to be stealing minutes off him? After doing so well on loan last season, why have we suddenly chosen to totally stunt his development in favour of this big diddy? The last time Stirton played for us, he scored, I’ve never even seen Moller within 12 yard of the goal ffs.

We need to be seriously questioning these sports scientists. Look at the long list of injuries we're getting. There's barely a first team player that HASN'T had a spell out with injury.
Naamo
Strain
Graham
Keresztes
Esselink
Camara
Watters
Eskeson
Iovu
Kucherenco (maybe)
Who have I missed?

This is not the best UTD team I've seen but far from the worst.
Plenty of effort and commitment today , it looked like Sibbald & Stephenson were both out on their feet with 15mins to go.
Overall we can't complain that is was a draw, probably a fair result.
I will focus on the good performances as there's been plenty of analysis of our poor players .
Graham kept Bowie quiet all match.
Sevejl was solid in his proper position
SCH looks more than ready to play
Nammo looks every bit as good as Strain( although that may not be a high bar)
Fatah summed up in a moment in the 2nd half. He burst past the full back pulled a chipped ball out of the air with a great touch steadied himself and put his shot out for a throw in.

Usually don't bother posting after games if others have said similar to my thoughts.
However, need to add my name to the list of Moller doubters. 6'6" and the least physical big man I've seen since Emil Lyng. Get Stirton on FFS.

Eh actually thought we shoulda won that the day. We shoulda had it nailed in the 2nd half. Think we played pretty well. The number oe nearies, wasted opportunities in the 2nd half, and poor bas inta the box is what cost us.
Their goal comes fae a coarner they get following a bad pass in the middle. Then Boil in the bag is left unmarked.
To me Moller and Watters, I honestly dinna ken how good or bad a player they actually are. Everything seems half hearted fae them. As other fowk have sayed, We've players like Stirton (who we've spent £1000s on training him), and he hardly gets a look in.
Wasna too impressed we McLean. Inconsistent. eg. He gees a free-kick to Hibs for high-boot but we dinna get ane.
MOTM for me Sibbald

Waters has been massively disappointing since he returned from injury. He’s certainly more of a handful than Moller, but he looks angry and frustrated.
Sam Dalby’s only started 2 games this season. I wonder if we can twist Bolton’s arm into loaning him to us in January. He’s the guy that turned games like today into wins.

Fatah has done plenty of good stuff too, wasn't his best game today but wingers are often a little bit inconsistent. I can't fault him for at least trying to run at fullbacks and hit the byeline. We'll be a good team when everybody clicks at the same time though.
