Re: St.Mirren vs United - Saturday 6th December

Hearing a rumour that Camara is gonna be out for weeks.

If it's true i'd play Keresztes at CDM. One of the few players we have that is comfortable with the ball at his feet and can also defend and win the ball.

Stephenson..Sevelj..Sibbald..Keresztes..Ferry

Re: St.Mirren vs United - Saturday 6th December

Scoring first later today could be huge.

St.Mirren have only gained 1 point this season from a losing position.

Agree. Without him we are significantly worse. Telling that just about everyone on here would rather play a combination of 3 different defenders in central midfield than any of our other midfielders. Notably eskeson. Do we not have any young lads around the squad that could get a chance? For years we had so many attacking MF that never got a chance…

I've already asked the same thing, no replies so far and never noticed him injured the other night.

Fatah on the bench. Camara out obviously and no Watters in the squad, fuck sake!

Fatah was limping when he was substituted on Wednesday

I never noticed, he's on the bench anyway so can't be all that bad.

Re: St.Mirren vs United - Saturday 6th December

Watters out injured again? What a huge surprise that is.

It's not where you're from it's where you're at.

Re: St.Mirren vs United - Saturday 6th December

Very very fortunate to be only 1 down at HT.

Yet again we look sluggish, ragged and uncoached.

The Moller Sapsford partnership doesn't work. Has it ever ?

We need an attack coach.
(And a new RB but that's been obvious for a while)

Very angry with this.

Re: St.Mirren vs United - Saturday 6th December

I honestly dont know where to start on that performance. Ryan Strain has the first touch of a drunken donkey is as good as place as any to start I guess. We give the ball away constantly and our final ball is woeful. Sapsford won't be getting called up anytime soon after that miss, astonishing! He has to fucking score that! Add to that their players have absolutely acres of space when they have the ball and yet another free header conceded. The ref and var can just fuck right off, the only time they are likely to get involved is if we score (unlikely) and they can spend 10 minutes looking for ways to chop it off! Sapsford booked for a dive but it looked like contact to me and no fucking different from Wednesday nights one. They get a free kick on the edge of our box for what looked like a very soft nudge but Sapsford gets taken out near their box and it's a fucking coming together!

Re: St.Mirren vs United - Saturday 6th December

Goodwin can fuck off, this is absolutely fucking brutal. Relegation form!

Re: St.Mirren vs United - Saturday 6th December

The lack of desire and intensity in our defending today was shocking.

KK looked like he was towing a caravan.

Re: St.Mirren vs United - Saturday 6th December

Struggling to see what style Goodwin is trying to implement, not looking great for him, 1 win in 10 is dreadful even the game we won was lucky if we’re all being honest. Fixtures we have coming up are horrendous too

Re: St.Mirren vs United - Saturday 6th December

Pish teams on long winless runs are ending their runs against us.

In recent relegation seasons I remember us playing well, dominating games and losing to keeper errors or sucker punches. This season we are being completely outplayed in just about every game.

Re: St.Mirren vs United - Saturday 6th December

If things keep going the way they are, you gotta start wondering how many other teams below us, are gonna go above us. This is shoogly peg stuff, esp. fir Goodwin.

Re: St.Mirren vs United - Saturday 6th December

Definitely starting to get worried.

No clean sheet since September in our home win against Aberdeen.
No win since October
Lost the first goal in 9 of our last 10 games
Players who were flying in the Summer, now looking a shadow of themselves (Keresztes, Bert, Dolcek)
Other players been poor all season (Vicko, Ferry)
Both Goalkeepers making errors nearly every week
Injuries mounting up again (and to key men)
Grumblings in the support towards Goodwin again

December looks like it's going to be a very trying period.

We will find out what Jim Goodwin and the players are made of. Either good or bad.

I suspect we will go into the Winter Transfer Window realising we are in a relegation dogfight between ourselves, Dundee, Killie and Livi.
