Yep. Same team. Still learning to play with each other and getting better all the time.

Does anyone know ticket allocations. After last game are Aberdeen back in the shed and getting half the ground again or is it same as last game with the same debate around them being behind Goodwin?

Re: United vs Aberdeen - Tuesday 23rd September (7.45PM)

Form book suggests a thumping 5-2 home win but I'll take a 1-0 right now.

Team picks itself at the mo.
I'm still a bit nervous about midfield though because at some point we're going to meet an opponent who gets the better of our middle 2. Hopefully it's not Tuesday night.

Aberdeen have the shed and fair play upper. Not sure if they’ve got the lower. United fans are in the Jerry Kerr.

Thanks. Been up in aberdeen last 2 days and heard from some fans. Incidentally they are expecting to get pumped and their saviour is very much on a shoogly peg. Be nice if the “worst manager in their history” sealed that particular deal.

Re: United vs Aberdeen - Tuesday 23rd September (7.45PM)

We're 7/4, them 6/4, draw 9/4.
But a change of favourite - a couple of days ago we were 6/4, them 7/4 so there's been Sheep money.
Ref is Steven McLean. VAR Andrew Dallas. What could possibly go wrong.

A big 3 points and another good performance. Can’t ask for anymore than that.
Well done Utd.

Yep, so many good performances across the team and a few outstanding ones too.
If I'm honest I was a bit disappointed we didn't turn the screw and make it 4 or 5.
But a solid home win, clean sheet and up into third in the league. A good night's work.
And I think this team will only get better.

Brilliant beating those cunts, haven't seen any of the game yet as I'm at work. I see Camara went off injured, how bad was it?

Could have been a tweak to a thigh muscle or cramp or both. DUTV didn't show him walking off so can't say how he looked, maybe someone who was there can update us.
He put in a colossal shift and MOM performance again.

Meantime I wonder where our contract conversation with Ivan Dolcek is up to?
Would be a kick in the bollocks to miss out.

Looked precautionary to me.

Seemed to walk off alright. Hope so anyway, he is massive for us.

Think Camara will be fine, walked off OK.  Covered every blade of grass again, absolute class act.

United won at a canter.  We have some great attacking players this season, Sapsford will go on to have a great career.  Fatah getting better every game.

Re: United vs Aberdeen - Tuesday 23rd September (7.45PM)

I'm glad this new side is getting game time and building confidence before we come up against the Glasgow 2 because I'm beginning to feel we have a side in the making that might actually give them a run for their money.

Re: United vs Aberdeen - Tuesday 23rd September (7.45PM)

Another excellent display, three points won and (pleasingly) also a clean-sheet.

We battered them tonight tbh. Was 2 going on 5 or 6 tonight. We were relentless at times.

Mitov saved them from a doing.

My player ratings -

Kucherenko 8/10 - Was solid as fuck tonight. A brilliant bounce back performance after his Easter Road horrorshow.

Stephenson - 8/10 - Absolutely great energy and drive. Tormented Aberdeen's left hand side a few times.

Iovu 8/10 - Another solid display by big Iurie. Really rate this guy. Fingers crossed his substitution for his 'injury' was more precautionary than a necessity.

Esselink 9/10 - Another brilliant display of professionalism and leadership. Delighted he has got his first goal for United, and in front of the East Stand to boot.

Keresztes 8/10 - Brilliant display, really classy player, who's passing is unreal for a Centre Half. Was pinging the ball 70 yards across field on a plate for Luca.

Ferry 8/10 - Excellent again tonight. Back to the Ferry of old.

Sevelj 8/10 - His best game for United for months, maybe even ever. Endless energy, contested every ball in midfield and nearly scored twice.

Camara 9/10 - Absolute Rolls Royce this boy. Some engine on him, a good change of pace and just moves so elegantly with the ball at his feet. Vital to everything we're doing.

Fattah 8/10 - Brilliant tonight, just boundless energy on and off the ball. Reminded me a bit of Jerren Nixon. Very impressed with how much he dropped deep for the ball and also pressed Aberdeen off the ball. He's really looking good for United now. Worth the wait.

Sapsford 8/10 - Usual selfless shift from this wee diamond of a player. Does so much off the ball that is unseen, a real pest for defenders. Fantastic slide tackle and pass to put Dolcek in one on one. Even when he lacks service he gives us so much.

Dolcek 8/0 - He was doing my head in after half an hour. Felt he was a bit lazy, a bit anonymous and a bit over greedy and wasteful on the ball at times. Then he pops up and scores another raker. Just enjoy him whilst he's here, i think. He will be hit and miss, but will always offer us some kind of end product more often than not. That's huge in football.

Subs -

Naamo - 7/10 - Looked bright tonight in his short cameo.

Eskesen 6/10- Hard to judge, because he wasn't on long again, but he tried be positive and make things happen. Nice feet on him. Think we'll only see the best of him when he plays a few games and gets up to speed with the pace and intensity of our game. Not sure how he gets into the first team though or where he plays exactly.

Moller 6/10 - Quiet cameo. A bit like Eskesen, i think we'll only really see what he's all about once he starts a few games. Or has longer cameos, at the very least.

Sibbald 6/10 - Never touched the ball much.

Re: United vs Aberdeen - Tuesday 23rd September (7.45PM)

We look a proper side.

Stephenson was the pick of the bunch for me tonight he was phenomenal

I’d be enjoying sapsford as much as you can now, as there is no way he is here for a length of time.

Aberdeen on other hand-they are in big bother 😂

Re: United vs Aberdeen - Tuesday 23rd September (7.45PM)

Don’t think Camara’s injury can be that bad as he was dancing in the dugout for the last 2 minutes of added on time!

Re: United vs Aberdeen - Tuesday 23rd September (7.45PM)

Brilliant last night. Agree we could have given them 5 if we had really gone for it.

Luca also may stand out. Aside from being solid in defence against an £8m winger and a real threat going forward, he has become a leader as well. Worried someone will pay a few million for him at Christmas if he keeps on like this. Camara and Esselink also brilliant.

Aberdeen were awful. All this talk of Thelin’s philosophy…they are a hoofball team. That was their only tactic. Punts up the park. Really delighted for Goodwin showing that lot how good a manager he is.

Re: United vs Aberdeen - Tuesday 23rd September (7.45PM)

Get it right up the sheep, they are rotten.   We were brilliant all over the pitch.  Jim has put a right good wee team together.  We'll go through tough periods no doubt over the course of the season but I think we have players that can give every team in this league problems.

BTW what was that offside in the first half all about when Luca was played in with the diagonal pass?  Need to see it back but I am sure he was a yard or so behind the Aberdeen boy midway in their half when it was played and the linesman gave it about 6 yards from the byline.

Re: United vs Aberdeen - Tuesday 23rd September (7.45PM)

There's fight in the team, it's a while since I saw us with such fight.

A much-needed clean sheet will do us good.

Enjoyed the Stephenson v Karlsson scrap. It was like a separate event which we of course won.

The sheep's stand-off with the sheep in the Jamieson at the end was weird. It was like two clans eyeing each other out before the combat. Not sure what it was meant to achieve & I don't think they knew either. Maybe Thelin said go & test the water.

Officials are fucking hopeless! Sapsford booked for a superb tackle and through ball, I also think Vicko should have had a penalty for Armstrong throwing him over in the box,not even fucking looked at. Anyway fuck the sheep shagging bastards! We do indeed have a great team at the moment, no weak links at all plus the bench is getting stronger too. To think we still have Graham,Watters, Pappoe,Trapa and Stirtonto come back in too, good times ahead hopefully!

Big shout out to Jim Goodwin also, doing a fantastic job. He must fucking love beating those cunts too! 🧡🖤🧡🖤🧡

The Sapsford one - he lets it go and lets the play go on into their box then stops it, runs up to Zac and books him.

Now for me there, he's let that go thinking Zac's tackle was good and somebody in VAR has then told him its a foul.

So WTF is that all about - are VAR now refereeing the games?  GTF

On TV he looked miles onside when the ball was played. A very bad decision.
