Dear Community,

I would like to attend a home game of Dundee in August (ideally Dundee-Rapid Vienna on August 14th if both teams qualify) and wanted to ask what is the best/fasted way to get tickets.
I checked the club‘s website (https://www.dundeeunitedfc.co.uk/tickets/buy-online?ftredirect=1) however it says „no events found“ although Dundee will face Hearts (Aug. 9th) and Aberdeen (Aug 23rd) in the upcoming month. Are those games already sold out or will ticket sale start later?

For the game vs Rapid: would ticket sale start this Friday? Is it realistic to get a ticket if you’re not a club-member ? I guess a lot of the tickets would be sold at pre-sale

Neither team have qualified yet for the next round. Therefore there won't be any tickets to buy until that happens. I'd imagine that you'd have to get a ticket through the Rapid Vienna web-site as I imagine that United will only sell to our own fans.

How about the other games in August? Why isnt it possible to buy a ticket for the Hearts game?

Dundee won't be facing Rapid Vienna as it's impossible for them to qualify for the next round of a competition they are not involved in.

Hi, as potentially United may be playing R.V on 7th August, then the date of the Hearts game is still subject to change. Once the fixtures for next week are confirmed, then I imagine the tickets will go on sale.

In any case though, I don't imagine you would have any issues securing a ticket for the Hearts game.

Not sure when tickets for the Hearts game will be on sale, but the Aberdeen game, originally scheduled for the 23rd, has been postponed.

Welcome friend

First off you may have already picked up that Dundee and Dundee United are two different teams. Easy mistake to make as our rivals have not been significant for a number of years, infact Franz Ferdinand was still alive the last time Dundee won our biggest national cup competition.

Regarding your questions, if you are looking for home end tickets you should have no problem getting tickets for either game you mentioned but as said above there is issues with all these games.

Dundee United vs Hearts - Will likley get played on Sunday the 10th August if we are still in european competition

Dundee United vs Aberdeen - Postponed due to Aberdeen playing in europe, possibly no confirmed date as it may be a game that gets selected for TV

I think so, i believe new rules in place this season from the SPFL allow clubs in europe to postpone weekend games. Due to our squad size/injuries this might be the more likely option rather than the hearts game being played the sunday. Saying that jim may not want too many games being played at a later date.

My question is though, would aberdeen be allowed to postpone league games after all 6? group stage games, we may also see similar situations with the cheeks

No. That rules applies to the playoff round only.

Thanks mate that makes sense, i thought aberdeen were into the europa group stage but im assuming its europa play off with conference group stage if they dont make it
