So before the real action kicks off on Thursday, who do you predict will be great and who will be a blow out based on what youve seen. Be interesting at the end of the season.
For the record, I hope that jort gets off to a flier - he might now that he will be able to concentrate on being a striker with the improved options out wide and from the middle.
Categories are: star player, important player, regular player, impact sub, needs a 2nd season, hasnt worked out
Id go....

Sorry mate, disagree with most of that.
But I get that message boards are all about opinions.

It is going to be intriguing how it all pans out.
Never before have we had 11 new players in all at once to sort out.
That in itself is not necessarily a good thing, they'll still be introducing themselves to each other at Xmas.
Continuity has gone out the window.
I've only seen them once, yesterday, but was still trying to sort them all out at the final whistle
I think the only one certain to be getting a game from last season is Will Ferry. Then possibly Sevelj. Graham's kind of out of the picture temporarily sadly. Sibbald has much competition for his position.
Of the 11 I reckon I think we can expect -
- 4 real gems, proper players
- 5 in between, more often first picks than subbies
- 2 duffers, struggling to make the bench
... but no names at present

Redmond- thats ok. We are all different. Stick down your predictions and we can get a laugh and the end of the season to see who got what right or wrong

Odada, Jort binned, probably Sibbald as well.
Fotheringham, Miller Thompson, put out on loan along with a few other youngsters.
Sapsford to be a sub/second striker depending on opposition.
That's the only predictions I could make with any confidence.

First off I think it's too early to be judging players either too enthusiastically or too harshly. We'll have a much better idea after the Strassen ties and a couple of league games.
But if we're playing that game I disagree with your categories eg a regular starter is an important player surely.
I'm going with this
Keepers: think we're well set.
Wing backs: Strain and Ferry will continue to carry the load. Naamo looks capable of making a big impact wherever he plays.
Centre Backs: Esselink looks the pick of the bunch, absolute class, but Iovu and Keresztes look like great additions. Sam CH will have minutes. Graham may eventually have to fight his way back in for a jersey, very unlucky.
Midfield: Camara and Pappoe both look like proper midfielders, really class footballers. If we're going 343 will both start? We'll soon find out. Sibbald and Svelj now fighting it out for a place.
Forwards: Dolcek, early days but looks promising.
Fatah, will need time to settle and find his game.
Stirton, has scored more first team goals than Jort. Keep him around.
Watters, just out of the car from England, let's wait and see.
Sapsford, has missed two chances in two games I think, a slight concern.
Trapanovski, revitalised and looking fitter but his end product is still ragged. If it was decent he'd be playing for Inter.
Thomson/Fotheringham well they're not going to start any games are they, still well short of whats required in the top league. No idea what JG will do with them. Very interesting that Thimson got minutes yesterday.
Jort, is, well, Jort is Jort. Will he break his duck, will he even get minutes..
The standout signings so far from what I've seen
Esselink
Camara
Pappoe
Naamo
Followed by
Iovu
Keresztes
Probably missed one or two so may have to revisit this.
Edit
Odada, try to find an interested club. Jort might be in that category too now. But I think Goodwin likes Jort..

Sapsford scored yesterday but was wrongly ruled out for offside, linesman has apologised for his error

Yeah, I think he'll do ok once he gets his first on the board.
