Stirton apparently going on loan to Airdrie
We must surely have another Striker imminent then.

Hope Stirton rumours not true. Really thought this was going to be the year he started breaking into first team off the bench. We only have 2 strikers. VDS is not one of them.
At least it probably means the rumours about him being sold are not happening. But if he scores a few goals on loan he will be gone at Christmas and we will never see him play.

It possibly going to be one of those new loan deals where we can send 2 or 3 players to a club on loan but can still include them in our match day squad if required.

I’d keep Stirton

So, would i.
If he's going i at least hope it's to one of the clubs where we can recall him at anytime.

Think that rule is for only league 1 and league 2 teams.

Hopefully just shite but The Scotsman has us back in for Allan Campbell.

That's not funny in the slightest.

Campbell did not look he wanted to be at Tannadice or could really be arsed.
He did though do something few UTD players have done in recent years, namely put a serious tackle on a Celtic player putting Jota out of the game for 6 months.
For that he gets my approval.

Alan Temple of the Courier quickly pouring cold water on that one.
Thank God.

Graham out for 3 months.
Unsure what thread to add this to

No thread about him being made captain. For me a really good choice.
This really sucks. He could well be out the picture for a spell when he returns if the new guys are playing well.

That's the media starting to churn out noise about our non Scots XI on Thursday a piece in tomorrow's Scotsman by some walloper about it.
The money to recruit Scottish players of the level we require to compete, simply isn't there, so what are we meant to do, fill the team with Nicky Clark, Jordan White, Liam Polworth, Cammy Kerr and just be happy if we survive?
I do think there's an imbalance in the squad, but how do you address that when boys can move south for 2 and 3 times what we can offer?

Yesterday's Courier Podcast was interesting.
Alan Temple saying United have tried signing some Scottish players but were simply outbid. He even named a couple.
Danny Armstrong and Joe Wright of Killie.
We also tried for Kyle Vassell of course.

Yep was listening to Sprtsound yesterday and Chic Young and Stephen Craigan both mouthing off about it. Nobody on the show there to challenge them on it.
Lets take a look at the next time Celtic and Rangers play each other lads and see how many Scottish guys are in both teams.
Absolute cretins.
Online!
Kurechenko.
Cant see him falling foul of the new 8 seconds rule.
After 5 seconds you'll see him crossing the halfway line on a mazy.
It's a good new rule, I detest these floppies when the gk saves a powderpuff shot & flops down like he's just made a world class save.

Good luck to him, won’t be a massive lose.

No loss, but if the rumours about Watters being out for two months are true then we are ridiculously light for Strikers.
It's went very quiet regards the two new signings Goodwin said he wanted in before the league starts on Sunday.

Hopefully that is correct. Doesn't seem like he's trained today though. Several training pics posted and he's in none of them. Neither is Naamo or Strain.

They did, but so did Ross Graham and Kai Fotheringham.

Yeah, even if fit I would expect all 3 to miss out on the starting 11.
