My question is who covers for Ferry when he picks up his 12th yellow to suspend him for 2 games.
Yep, very likely to happen in one of the upcoming games.
Svelj can play there, Middleton can also do a job if he has a bit of protection ahead of him.
Not very keen on Middleton in at Left back after the Motherwell game, where he was all over the place to be honest.
Luca will be a big miss and my fear is that with our squad so small and 5 massive matches coming in a short period we are going to have to use Campbell and Babunski in midfield, they will need to improve for us to pick up points.

Agree, but Middleton needs cover in front of him and if I recall never got it in that Motherwell game.
Hopefully Ferry avoids a yellow and we're not going to have the problem.
Folk were saying in January we should have brought in cover for LB but a decent player isn't going to sit on the bench for 5 months without a contract offer and the knowledge that the position is his in the coming season.
This is where the old reserve league was a good thing because a reserve LB would be playing that position week in week out and would be ready to step in to a position that he plays every week.

I went along with the kids on Friday to the open training session and we had 17 outfield players training plus Graham and Dalby doing some light running.
That's going to be stretched to the limit, Stephenson was so versatile to cover multiple positions, always a sign of a very competent footballer.
On a side note with Ferry, his suspension kicks in 7 days after his next booking. For me if going South vs Celtic I would haul him off and I think then he just needs to avoid a yellow vs Hibs.

Tough ask. He's got to play his natural game and ca'canny.
Vicko would seem the obvious candidate but I'd hate to see Campbell come back in.
If he gets booked in 4th game and we appeal on the Wednesday how long does it take for appeal to be heard ? ie would decision get deferred a week ?

I don't think we can appeal a yellow card mate

With Ferry, if/when he gets booked, it only kicks in after 7 days.
In theory he needs to avoid it in the next three games then his suspension will stat at the beginning of next season.

If he was to be booked on Saturday 10th (kick off 3:00 p.m.) would he be able to play against Aberdeen on Saturday 17th (kickoff 12:30 p.m.) as a full week wouldn’t have transpired?
