The midfield is a problem, can’t see Goodwin changing it due to the fact we haven’t played 1 game with three in the middle

I know most of you won't agree with this, but this would be my starting 11
Walton
Graham Gallacher Cleall-Harding
Grimshaw Babunski Sibbald Ferry
Forbes Moult Trapanovski
If playing Brandon Forbes on the right I wouldn't put Miller Thomson in behind him as that would offer very little in the way of experience on the right flank.
Ferry is going to have to be a bit more restrained and not be too gung ho.

Surely Graham on the left of the three no?

You're seriously leaving out Babunski ?
Other than that it's not a bad team, although I'd be tempted to start VDS in place of Moult or maybe Fotheringham. Docherty won't start the game in my opinion, an option from the bench at best. Babunski first name on the team sheet for me.

Tempted to suggest Cleall-Harding - won't happen, obviously
Big Ross' lack of pace a worry
Looking forward to Brandon Forbes getting a run
Edit: forgot the Dutchman .... wouldnae say spoiied for choice but beginning to have options

Yup, I got them the wrong way round.... D'oh!!

Grimshaw, Cleall-Harding and Forbes ? If your job was on the line ? dont think so

If you're good enough......
Forbes has shown that he is capable and is brimming with confidence.
Grimshaw won't likely be bullied in the same way that Thomson might.
Cleall-Harding might be a bit of a gamble, but Sevelj hasn't had much game time at CB since he joined us and when he did play there I don't think he was quite as good as what Cleall-Harding was after he settled down against Luton.
Life would be boring if everything was played safe.
What would your team be?

No worries, I wish Jim could admit the same tbh 🤣

Not posted in a long time, but massively excited for the weekend. I think we'll win.
My team would be:
Walton
Sevelj Gallagher Graham
Thomson Babunski Sibbald Ferry
VDS Trapanovski
Moult
VDS playing more centrally but drifting wide to help out Thomson. Always have one of Ferry and Traps hugging the touchline. Moult hasn't looked great but he CAN be a big game player when he is on it. Lots of hard work needed, and multiple options on bench to change if required.
3-1 United

WALTON
HOLT
GALLAGHER
GRAHAM
SEVELJ
MOULT
SIBBALD
BABUNSKI
FERRY
TRAPANOVSKI
The above 10 in their best positions plus one from -
FOTHERINGHAM
GRIMSHAW
X-FACTOR (Forbes/O'Donnell)
Subbies - the above 4 plus the likes of Middleton, Watt, Thomson, VD Sande & of course Richards.
Not for just yet - Odada, Harding, Stirton.
Hope I've not forgotten anyone.
I think we're maybe going to be missing Strain, that was a real shame, could guess his anguish when he went off.

My team wouldn't be lining up as a 3-5-2, it would be 4-4-2 every day of the week.
That said with the guys we have got and the 3-5-2 formation.
Walton.
Graham Gallagher Holt
Seve, Sibbs, Docherty, Babunski, Ferry
Moult and Fotheringham

So now we're leaving out Trapanovski?
I'm starting to feel happy Jim's picking the team 🤣🤣

We can't shoehorn Docherty into the team when he's had no minutes whatsoever btw.

Sorry, DOCHERTY goes in the not for just yet group.

We are severly lacking in the centre half/right back area - need to get holt off the books and get a centre half of stature in.

He's not going to suddenly go back to 4 at the back when we've played all our games in his new preferred formation. For what it's worth I really wish he would. Graham and Gallagher would be fine together and a 442 means we can play Moult and VDS together. Still plenty of options from the bench too

He sticks with this 3 at the back, it'll be curtains for him very early. He has brought in creative personnel that I feel would flourish in a 4-2-3-1, this team I posted is one I wish he would play too. This defence can be caught out devastatingly in his current formation of choice.

I could say I am keeping him for the last 30 but that would be a barefaced lie😃.
Totally forgot, sorry Kia your on the bench.

If we do he'll be injured again in a week or less

At least with all these line ups and formations we are keeping the opposition guessing. Better than some cunt leaking the team a couple of days before 😋
