Re: Utd Vs Ayr - Saturday 20th April

Tempted to bring Thomson back in, but if we're consistent and the thinking is don't change a winning team..

Yeah I genuinely didn't see Grimshaw put a foot wrong against Morton, stick with the same team for me.

Great cross for Docherty's goal.

He was holding his lower back last Fridat and in general must be carrying a few knocks going by the amount of times he's been subbed this season.

Docherty for me is our most influential player, he plays  we win.

Fuck sake Tillson 😖

Edit to say, I hope we go with Wotherspoon rather than Tillson

If Docherty is out i recon it will be Tilson that comes in. The way we play just now  it might be ok

Thinking out loud.  Would Sibbald be able to do the holding DM role on his own, allowing us to play a 4-1-4-1?

Oooooohhhh yeeeeeaaaaaah!!

Re: Utd Vs Ayr - Saturday 20th April

If he is borderline do we risk him for this game, as if we win then it needs a massive goal difference swing over the next two games where he could be rested?

Re: Utd Vs Ayr - Saturday 20th April

I would like to see young Thompson back in to replace Grimshaw for this one.

Fingers crossed that Docherty is fit, if he ain't then Tilson comes in to replace.

This is it, one win required and it will be the hardest one collect three points.

These guys have over the season to date managed the weight of expectation pretty well but tomorrow there will be a bit more pressure to finally get over the line.

A chance to do something that will be pretty special for them as a collective.

Thompson for Grimshaw.
Hope Docherty can make it, if not Wotherspoon.

Anyone watching the last game would have seen Doc take a sore one to his back early on, an impact injury which can happen to any player, I don't accept that he's a sicknote.

So much for managing him in training then.

Re: Utd Vs Ayr - Saturday 20th April

Big crowd expected, chance to clinch the league with a win (35 GD isn't getting caught in 2 games). We all know how well Goodwin does in the big crunch games. Fully expecting to need something come the final game of the season--hope I'm very wrong.

It's not where you're from it's where you're at.

Managing him in training I said. Nothing to do with the last match.

To be fair, from Raith onwards they've been big/must win games. There's been a noticeable change in mindset and playing style that's more than paid off.

Would be crazy to play it safer when 3 points more or less seals it.
