Dunfermline vs Utd - Friday 15th March (7.45PM)

What XI and formation for yet another huge match on Friday night?

Same starting line up as Saturday, run over the top of them.

Re: Dunfermline vs Utd - Friday 15th March (7.45PM)

I think we will go same Team  4-4-2.

A Few points:

Their LCD and LWB  Otto and Edwards are good fast ,young players Kai with his lack of pace really struggled against them last time.

They are poor up front if Chris Kane is still injured they wont cause us many problems.

Only concern in midfield is our 2 against their 3 or 4 depending if they play 1 or 2 up front. But our 2 are far better than anything they have.

If things are not going well i'd consider bringing on some pace to run into the gaps between CB and WB  Grieve or Maybe Mochrie as he changed the game last time at theirs.

To be fair those two (LCD and LWB for them) were the best players on the park last time.  The LWB especially is someone we should be looking at.  For Friday night I'd be tempted to give Cudjoe a go against them.  He's far less predictable than Fotheringham who had a stinker v them last time.  If Middleton can take a game then they aren't so strong on the other side.

I'd like to think Holt and Gallagher can deal with Kane.  Half decent player in his day.  It's not his day any more.

Todd makes good runs beyond the striker and can score goals. Look out for Ritchie-Hosler just back from injury plays on the right wing better then Cudjoe IMO

Would you rather go back to having no options?

If fit then yes but probably best coming off the bench for now.

I'm not too fussed about Wootherspoon, we really didn't need another guy to take up space in the treatment room but if he's fit he's a better option than Glass and Mochrie.

With Grieve, I do like his work rate however I've seen enough already to gauge that he is very average but for the budget we have I suppose their ain't much better out there.

Interesting to hear Spence (I know) on the podcast last week say that Roy McGregor was playing hardball with us regarding Simon Murray. Grieve is Simon Murray ordered from Wish.

It's s bad day when you can't afford Murray but are paying fortunes to players carried over from the Ashgar era.

We cannot afford another wet fart performance on Friday. Raith winning tonight puts all the pressure back on us and nothing but wins are good enough.

We should just turn up play in navy blue and speak/sing like we're in recuperation from a lobotomy.

Every fucking bounce of the ball will go our way.

This.

Wotherspoon at some stage if fit enough.
Tillson at some stage because Goodwin likes him and on the back of good performace at Greenock the other week.
Don't get the fascination with Cudjoe. - Predictable. Can't match it physically.
Stop comittee meetings at corners, just get on with it with young Miller to take them. Every one he takes seems to be wicked.

There is another more worrying injury concern, I'm not going to say who it is

Please not the keeper, I have no faith in the understudy.

We've managed all season without him he's not made that much of an impact when he's played

A much better option off the bench than a load of unready teenagers if he was able to stay fit, was always likely to be crocked though. We do seem to love a crock.
