Enforced mourning, what a joke. She was 96 ffs. Should have been a minutes silence and black armbands and that would have been more than enough. As per, Doncaster bottled it and waited for the EPL to make its decision first.

Whatever your viewpoint, at least we have some certainty now.
Why are you finding it hard? Was she a personal friend of yours? Did she ever write to you or even know you exist?
You are once again talking absolute shite and you know it.
Millions of people are finding it hard, and I'm one of them. I don't really think it's appropriate for me to justify that here, just as I wouldn't dream of challenging those who don't feel affected, or are even angry at the disruption caused by the period of mourning.

Of all the people I know, none of them are mourning per se.
But they are all hacked off at all the over orchestrated mourning being forced upon us by the media and press. It's over the phuckin top.
Bet ye the Bullshit Broadcasting Corp. have had a building full of folk working on this for yonks.
Yeah it's sad to a point, esp. for her family, but no more than it is for any other family, in the same situ. But there are 180,000 families that have lost loved ones, before their time, and we have'nae had any mourning for them.

Yep, I don't remember AU coming on here to express his grief for all those lost souls. Royal family have had blood on their hands for centuries, I'm not crying for a single one of them.

Two entirely different issues, whether there is a monarchy or not there will always be people on the streets.

All that shows is that you are taking 21C morals to a 16/17C issue.
Are you personally responsible for the actions of your ancestors?
Should the Romans+The Vikings pay reparations for the damage/slavery they inflicted on this Island?

Is it now. Wonder how much this fiasco is costing in £Ms to the taxpayer and for the next Monarch to get a sparkly crown.
Meanwhile, thirs thousands oe ald fowk that are faird what the winter brings them and the price or food in the shops. Wonder if we'll play sad music for them if they freeze or sterve to death.
They're playing cricket in London, but we canna get futba in Scotland. Instead we've to watch orchestrated mourning for goodness knows how long, including what fowk in Plymouth and bairns in Birmingham think.

This is all part of living in a country with an unwritten constitution. Pomp and circumstance prevails. I’m generally no too bothered about a wee change in proceedings for a couple of weeks. Always does seem to be being a little bit precious, as usual, but if he genuinely is feeling a bit down about this all, that’s up to him. Not sure anyone else can legitimately call that bullshit.

Ken whar yer comin fae Finn.
Think you'll ken as much as abody else that's been on Tekel Towers for a lang time, that you'll ken me well enough (figuratively speakin), that Eh only started the threed coz i was wondering aboot the futba the day. It was only coz i heard something yesterday moarnin on Radio Scotland aboot the futba fixtures and was wonderin what was going on.
Wisna expecting it to go aff on a tangent coz somedy started talking aboot how we were ah feelin. As ADS and other fowk sayed, this is a Football Forum for supporters oe Dundee United. Its no a counselling network.
Think abody will ken how Eh'm feeling. The same as them. P1ssed off ATM coz the futbas aff the day.
But if its degenerated, then Eh'm as much to blame as anydody else.

The Royal family have still stopped short of offering apologies or reparation for the actions of their bloodline, so yeah.
It's OK when people hate the English for invading Scotland though I take it?

My point is history matters and the Royal family have blood on their hands. They also have paedophiles living comfortably amongst them. All you people who think you actually matter to these kind of people are deluding yourselves. Royals, Tories and fox hunting, opera going, ballet enthusiasts can all GTF for me.
Just my humble and honest opinion of course, each to their own obviously.

I personally don't matter to them, but they matter to me. As a former soldier I swore an oath of allegiance to Queen Elizabeth. That held good until Thursday past. And please name the paedophiles (plural?)I don't know of any. My honest but not humble opinion.

OK so perhaps I should have said a paedophile, as I only know of the one. Perhaps not convicted but only because he has a huge wallet though. If you honestly don't know who I'm referring to then I'll let you Google it as I wouldn't want to name them on a football message board. Good on you if you served your Queen and Country, I swore no oath to them though and don't feel any connection or loyalty to them. No offence intended to yourself and have a good night 👍

Andrew is clearly a very questionable person who was best mates with probably the worst paedophile in the history of the planet, and who's mother (the person you swore allegiance to) used £12 million of our cash to pay off one of his alleged victims. The FBI had a file on Lord Mountbatten which if you have 5 minutes spare you should go and see if you can read.

Jeez guys, I didna want to start disagreements between fellow Arabs on the board. Wish I hadn't retorted to AlwaysUnited. It was purely a football query honestly.
To try and put things back on-track a bit, was looking thru all the Sports channels and you could get live Golf, Formula 1, Cricket, Rugby, but nae Futba.

Very good point that.
No-one ever seems to consider either that the ancestors of African slaves should try and perhaps receive financial reparations from the root cause of their ancestors becoming enslaved i.e. other African tribes who literally looted, raped and kidnapped the poor souls who would later become slaves, and sold them to Western travellers.
The stark truth is that hundreds of years ago the World was a barbaric place and was one huge game of 'Empire', where one empire would try and conquer the other.
Britain were just better at it than anyone else.

Surely the root cause would be the demand for slaves? You can't sell something (or someone) that nobody wants?
