That was piss poor again today. Watching United atm is eye bleed stuff.
Saw a stat on twitter earlier. 5 games we've had a man advantage this season we've drawn 3 and lost 2. That's just not good enough.
Tam will get the season but I expect him to get the boot fans aren't going to sit and watch that mediocrity for the rest of the season.

Just finished the game on ALBA.
Boring, insipid, walking pace football once again.
Slightly better after we went 4-4-2 in the 2nd half but only slightly. The fact that Saints played with 10 men for 40 minutes and Zander Clarke made no significant saves in that time tells it's own story.
The players look over coached and constantly playing these little triangle of passes which must come from Courts/Fox and the style of football they want them to adopt.
There seems no freedom about our players and you hardly ever see anyone brave enough to put their foot on the ball, take responsibility, be brave and try and take men on and try and make something happen.
All safe football and the players seem more focused on keeping possession and not surrendering the ball.
One last thing. Tony Watt. Strong boy with good control but i honestly think he slows our play down a lot. Just doesn't seem to be the piece of the jigsaw we needed in relation to scoring goals.
Early days and hope i'm wrong but that is my early impressions.

A disappointing performance, anyone can see that. Fans were great today though, as always.
Before we supporters jump to any kneejerk calls for change, its worth talking a moment to reflect on where we were when the current owners took over. Languishing in the middle of the Championship.
Now we are in the top six, 60 seconds away from being unbeaten away to Celtic, Dundee and Saints in our last three games.
Not perfect, but not bad either.
Question.
Did you agree with Mickey Mellon being sacked for the eye bleedingly bad football his Utd side offered up?

Mickey left by mutual consent.

FAF.
I knew you'd swerve that.

We are getting worse. That today was pathetic, we did not have a clue how to break down 10 men. In 35 minutes v 10 men (bottom of the league as well) we created no clear cut chances.
The Tam Courts experiment hasn’t worked and it’s time to accept that. I wasn’t totally against trying it and the early signs were encouraging but for 3 months we have been horrible to watch and our results utterly embarrassing.
COURTS OUT.
One simple question, who would you want instead? Everyone made it clear before they didn't want a "merry go round" appointment like John Hughes or Derek McInnes. I think the board made a brave decision, it'll take time to see the results. As fans, we should stand by them and more importantly the players.
No one gives a fuck what you think, just stop with the shite. You're obviously not actually Tony Asghar, just some clown who thinks it's fun to try to rile up genuine fans. About time you fucked off and got a life

It's probably Smed'um. He thinks we're pure amazing to watch.

Following a late tea the night efter getting back far Perth, I thought I'd think about my last posts on the forum, regarding it being last chance saloon for TC if we'd got beat by the Johnnies the day.
Well that didna happen, so I'll step back, but just a wee bitty.
Our pace and build-up towards the Johnnies goal was laboured.
Our tactics in front of our opponents box is sh1te.
We couldn't score a goal in just under 45 mins against an opposition of 10.
In the last 2 gehms we couldna score against the 2 sides who are at the bottom of the League. That means to me anyweh that we're no any better than they are.
In the last 3 gehms, in 270 mins of playing time, we've had a total of only 3 attempts on target.
It seems that oor squad canna hit a coos @rse we a phuckin banjo.
We've had, what 2 wins in aboot 15 gehms (correct my arithmetic if I'm wrong)
We've been on a slippery slope since the 30th October - the last we played the Johnies, when they beat us at Home. thank goad they only had 10 men the 2nd half.
But the saddest thing for me the day was hearing a percentage of our Support boo-ing the players at the Final whistle, whilst the fermers fans cheered and clapped their lot.

"Boring, insipid, walking pace football once again." Just read the same kind of comments on 6 or 7 other forums(different teams from english championship level to non league). Who in the fuck invented this pish boring futba?????? It's no just Dundee United playing like this!!!! Fucking dire dire boring shite. Get it right to fuck.
You're contradicing yourself Tek.
You lament our lack of brave play then criticise our only brave player for 'slowing our game down'.
Japan, you're bang on. Football is becoming incresingly insipid. We love our football but if I didn't have tangerine blood I wouldn't be watching any of it.
I was looking forward to Arbroath v Killie on Friday night TV. I was very disappointed with what I saw despite the attraction of the fixture.

I haven't seen Tony Watt being particularly brave on the ball smeDUm (bar one or two runs in 6 games).
Skillfull and strong, yes. But not particularly brave.
I have seen him hit the deck a lot.

I think the question should be who do we want that would be willing to work with Tony A ? as he is going nowhere

Taking the ball is 'brave' now is it?
To me that is the minimum requurement of being a footballer.
I'm not even really on about Tony Watt anyway. He isn't our main problem or anything like it.
It's more a general point about how we as a club play. I.e. safe sideways passing for the majority.
