Well well well. A few people will be eating humble pie tonight.
Brilliant display, great game management from Thomas Courts to bring on the subs at a crucial time.
This is a turning point and I'm loving it.

One dimensional play again from Utd and apart from Watt and Freeman there was no urgency.
Everyone in the ground could see that McNulty and Pawlett were not at the races and let TC know about it. A great save from Benji at the end or it could have been a different story.
Good to get the 3 points.

Thought we played well for most of the 1st half, Watt, McMann and Freeman in particular. 2nd half we started so slowly and you just knew they'd score. Clark gets some stick from Utd fans but he changed things last night, not just his goals but he had the balls to show for the ball when our fans were getting on the team's back and others were hiding.
Fuchs, never seen a guy going from such a good player to such a liability in such a short space of time.

Always talks pish again.
It's not as if we dealt admirably with what was in the County fans' opinion a poor performance from their team. We scraped out a win in injury time after losing a poor goal first again with no cutting edge in front of goal until Clark (who most think not good enough) saving our blushes and not for the first time. Courts can't get our best team on the park at the start of the game. Pawlett and McNulty passengers. Fuchs currently off form and Harkes doing just about enough. All against a weak RC midfield. Therefore to pat Courts' back for realising that Pawlett and McNulty were offering nothing is not in my view great game management, but at least he also saw what was obvious to most (as I understand it).
We had to take something from that game. However a win is a win and you have to congratulate the team and Courts for getting it even if it is not pretty. A battling display at the tattiedome and wins against the Fun and the Fermers and we'll be back on track. Hopefully these 2 wins are a base for improvement and getting back to earlier season form.

Could’ve easily lost that on another day. That guy Cooke is decent for them and what I feared beforehand. Still, happy to finally get a win and no wake up at 5:30 for nothing.
Equally, we could have been 3 up at half time....

Agreed. I thought we played really well for the first half, particularly for the first half an hour or so (up until McNulty's tame shot when clean through). At least we rallied after the lapse after half time and losing the goal which was encouraging.
And more importantly, I won the 50/50 and ended up £410 richer at the end.

Obviously when at the game its just total nerves, watching highlights, it was actually a decent game with two teams going at it, great 3 points and a huge big up to Clark who i have been known to criticize.
